Based on the comprehensive theoretical study of the possible solutions and under the guidance of the Project based teaching as well as our ideals in reforming modern vocational education,this study offers a systematic new design for "Computerized Accounting"course in Chinese secondary vocational schools.This reform consists of six aspects:setting the teaching objectives,rearranging the teaching content,designing the teaching process,organizing the class,choosing the teaching resources and valuating the teaching results.To test the applicability of the theoretical studies,this research designs a set of comparative studies and by comparing the different groups of experiments and analyzing their results,the usefulness of the theoretical studies is confirmed.According to the results,this reformed "Computerized Accounting" course successfully stimulated the students'interest in the class,strengthened their professional skills and self-learning ability,as well as developed their comprehensive capabilities in research,data-analysis and cooperation.Therefore,this study proves to be a significant case in applying the Project based teaching in accounting education for secondary vocational students.To be more specific,this paper could be divided into five parts:Chapter one serves as the introductory part,which explains the necessary background and the possible benefits of the study,summarizes the previous related studies and defines the content of this study.Chapter two analyzes the applicability of the Project based teaching in "Computerized Accounting" course for secondary vocational students.Chapter three gives a systematic teaching design for using the Project based teaching in the reformed "Computerized Accounting" course.Chapter four covers the empirical study,which introduces the detailed process of the comparative experiment as well as the data-analysis methods.Chapter five summarizes the result of this study and offers some advice for the reform of the "Computerized Accounting" course in Chinese Secondary vocational schools.
