Education and teaching require students to become socialist,socially responsible,and have a basic spirit of innovation and practical ability after the curriculum reform,.They can not only inherit the fine traditions cultivated by the Chinese nation in the long history but also obey the public ethics of the modern society.This is the requirement of moral education and it is also the fundamental task of education.The mathematics course is a universally recognized basic course.It has been attached with great attention in subject education.However,the subtle infiltration of moral education in the teaching of mathematics has not been fully valued and practiced in our education and teaching.The author hopes that more math teachers will be able to recognize the moral value of mathematics and reflect it in the classroom through his own research and thinking,The author adoptes the observational method,the descriptive research method,and the combination of theoretical and practical case studies.This article is divided into six parts.The first part begins with the analysis of status quo of the author’s school,and the author recognizes the confusion in mathematics classroom caused by the lack of moral education as well as the drawbacks reflected in other learning activities,which promotes the author’s thinking and research on the infiltration of moral education in the mathematics.The second part analyzes the social background,cultural background and institutional background brought about by the lack of moral education in mathematics classes.The third part deals with the definition of moral education in school and mathematics,which enables the readers to get a certain understanding of two important concepts.The fourth part fully expounds the importance and necessity of penetrating moral education in the mathematics curriculum.Based on the systematic study of moral education goal in new PEP,the fifth part points out the teaching strategies concerning moral education in mathematics from three aspects with the example of several chapters in the eighth grade.Meanwhile,standing at the height of school management,we have given suggestions for improving moral education evaluation system to promote the implementation of mathematics moral education.The sixth part summarizes the content of the article and proposes a good outlook.It is believed that once moral education is infiltrated in the mathematics classroom,it will be a great asset for the development of the students.The innovation of this paper lies in the fact that the author proposes to organically combine the moral education with the important basic curriculum mathematics,embodying the comprehensiveness and superiority of this approach in cultivating students,and at the same time this paper combines theoretical support to verify the theoretical feasibility.The author puts his own research fruit into practice in daily teaching,which contributes not only to the improvement of subject teaching results but also the students’ love for mathematics,open up new ideas to learn mathematics.Math classes became interesting and burst into applause from time to time in the classroom.
