"Moral education and people cultivation" is the fundamental task of China's education.Educating people with curriculum is the main way to implement moral education.Moral education in mathematics is an indispensable part of the curriculum education system.As the leader of teaching activities,the moral education ability of mathematics teachers is an important factor restricting the quality of mathematics curriculum education.Therefore,it is particularly important to investigate the current situation of the development of the subject moral education ability of middle school mathematics teachers.This paper uses literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method,statistical analysis method and interview method.Based on the construction of the structure of middle school mathematics teachers' subject moral education ability,this paper systematically studies the current situation and existing problems of middle school mathematics teachers' subject moral education ability,and puts forward the promotion strategies.The main contents are as follows:First,this paper constructs the structure of the mathematics subject moral education ability of middle school mathematics teachers.It includes three first-level dimensions: the teaching design ability of mathematics moral education,the teaching implementation ability of mathematics moral education,and the teaching evaluation ability of mathematics moral education.This structure also includes eleven secondary dimensions,and twenty-nine specific tertiary dimensions.Second,this paper compiles and implements the Questionnaire on the Moral Education Ability of Mathematics Subjects of Middle School Mathematics Teachers.The results show that this ability is at a moderate level,and there are urgent problems to be solved in three aspects.Seven factors have a significant impact on the moral education ability of middle school mathematics teachers.They are: teacher's teaching age,educational background,professional title,training opportunities,school type,whether he has been a class teacher or not,and the degree of participation in school curriculum reform.Third,based on the analysis of the current situation of the moral education ability of middle school mathematics teachers,combined with the attribution analysis,some improvement strategies are put forward.In terms of updating the concept of mathematics teachers' subject moral education,schools should create a spiritual space for mathematics teachers,strengthen the training and communication of mathematics teachers,and formulate an evaluation mechanism for mathematics teachers' subject moral education ability.In strengthening the training of mathematics teachers' subject moral education,it is necessary to increase the education training of middle school mathematics teachers' subject moral education,provide a variety of teaching strategies and methods,and strengthen the construction of school hardware facilities.In the aspect of expanding the evaluation methods of moral education courses in mathematics,a diversified evaluation system should be established.
