Flipped Classroom teaching model is a product of the era of information technology.It aims at capacity building.It uses an informatized web platform and practical classroom as an intermediary.It is based on grouped learning and focuses on self-study before class,internalizing knowledge and skills during and after class.A new type of teaching model.This article focuses on the design and development of Flipped Classroom teaching in gymnastics teaching.Using literature research methods,comparative analysis methods,case analysis methods,and other research methods to explore the specific objectives and process methods of implementing Flipped Classroom teaching model in gymnastics teaching,and applying Flipped Classroom teaching model to the teaching of gymnastics in physical education majors.Problem,propose improvement methods and suggestions,so that Flipped Classroom teaching mode can be effectively integrated into the gymnastics teaching of physical education majors.The study draws the following conclusion:(1)The application of Flipped Classroom teaching mode to gymnastics teaching is the inevitable result of the development of the times.It can largely break through the drawbacks of traditional classroom teaching and has great application advantages.(2)Flipped Classroom teaching model applied to gymnastics teaching is conducive to students' interest in learning,attitude,teamwork,problem analysis and problem solving,etc.,as well as the professional qualities of teachers,from the macro and systematic perspectives.From the perspective of scientific,objective and reasonable evaluation.(3)Flipped Classroom micro-video resources virtually increases the frequency of students' participation in class and under class.At the same time,co-operative learning by groups of students in the class helps students to better develop and discover students' abilities and potentials,and is more conducive to improve student achievement.(4)Flipped Classroom teaching model applied to gymnastics teaching,throughmicro-video,can enhance students' initiative in learning,and enable students to master gymnastics knowledge in an intuitive,visual,and interesting teaching environment.(5)Flipped Classroom teaching model is applied to gymnastics teaching and integrates mobile learning with classroom teaching.It is not limited by time and space.With the help of “practicing instructors”,students can better master gymnastics technical movements.(6)Flipped Classroom teaching model applied to gymnastics teaching,guide students to find problems,analyze problems,solve problems,can improve students' interest and attitude of learning,self-study ability,and ability to observe,analyze and solve problems.(7)Flipped Classroom teaching model applied to gymnastics teaching is conducive to training physical education students' ability to find mistakes and correct mistakes,and further improve their teaching ability after taking up employment.
