Zhu Kezhen was the President of Zhejiang university from 1936 to 1949,during which was the period of Anti-Japanese War and the Chinese civil war.He led the Zhejiang university's teachers and students to move west,put his educational ideas into practice,and wrote the Zhejiang university's brilliant "Wen Jun long march"picture.Most importantly,with his excellent achievements,Zhejiang university was reputed as "the East Cambridge" in history.Zhu attached great importance to moral education,and viewed moral education as the guidance of students' life.He advocated the combination of teaching knowledge and educating people,and thought moral education was as important as knowledge education.Zhu believed moral education's goal was to cultivate leaders,who had male determination,selfless soul,and could make great contributions to the society,change the fate of the country.In the process of educating people,the tutor system was a basic carrier and an important support of Zhu Kezhen's moral education theory,which would have a subtle effect on students through professors' personality and behaviors.Zhu always delivered moral values through speech with characteristic presentation style,which was the concentrated expression and distinctive feature of Zhu Kezhen's moral education theory.These educational practices had achieved great achivements and won praise from teachers and students.In general,Zhu Kezhen's moral education ideology has stipulated content and clear training objectives.He adheres to the principle of educating people and his moral education thought has the characteristics of full-time,full-time,and comprehensiveness.Zhu Kezhen's moral education thought and practice was of great significance to the contemporary moral education:cultivating leaders highlights the transcendence of the moral education target;tutor system enlightened the basis of effective moral education was that educators should be educated first;multiple speech styles highlight direct moral education still had important values in current society.Compared with the past,Zhu Kezhen's moral education activities painted a vivid picture of how to make his school ideas into practice.In the contemporary vision,the function of Zhu Kezhen's moral education thought is to seek the common value between teachers and students,exert the joint effects.of educating people,and expand the methods of moral education.However,due to the limitations of history,Zhu Kezhen's moral education theory should be studied in a dialectical and critical way.We should recognize that the deficiency of this moral education thought is Zhu Kezhen's relative neglect of political education and personal values.
