The 19 th national congress of the communist party of China points out that “employment is the biggest livelihood problem.We should make efforts to achieve a full employment with better quality in line with the policy of employment priority and positive employment policy ”.Independent colleges,as an important component of Chinese higher education,have provided applied talents to meet social requirements through its decades of development.This on the one hand has enriched school-running model of Chinese higher education,on the other hand has relieved the pressure on the shift of university development mode from “ elitism ” to “ popularization”.The social has a low degree of recognition to independent colleges for whom have relatively immature development and weak employment competitiveness.Thus,it is very important for independent colleges enhance employment guidance.For one thing,this is a must pass for both students to grow and independent colleges to improve themselves,for another thing,this is an inevitable way to strength the country through talents.Therefore,it's essential for independent colleges to list “Employment Guidance to College Students” as an important subject.This article,firstly,with the help of documentary research methodh and experience summary method,and by virtue of the Marx's theory on all-rounded development of human beings and theory of employment guidance to job matching,aims at studying respectively three employment guidance modes: Cooperation and practice between independent colleges and enterprises,combination involving production,teaching and research,and industry-driven employment mode through studying the development of independent colleges and its school running orientation and through analyzing independent colleges students' source,thinking,learning situation and career planning.Secondly,this article deeply concludes and analyzes the problems occurred in the process of implementing the employment guidance,mainly including the goals,content,and modes of guidance.Lastly,this article puts forward strategies about perfecting the employment guidance of independent colleges from the perspectives of goals,ideas,organizations and approaches of employment guidance,and hoping to provide independent colleges with references and instructions to better carry out work on employment guidance.
