The development of vocational education is an important strategy to promote the development of national economy and social science.China has paid more and more attention to vocational education.Under the leadership of the government,a variety of resources are converged to vocational education to speed up its development. However, behind the development, there are still many basic problems in secondary vocational education in China. The related data show that secondary vocational school graduates have low quality of employment, poor employment stability and lack of social attractiveness in the process of employment. These phenomena reflect that the quality of secondary vocational education has not yet met the needs of the society and the market for skilled talents. To improve the quality of personnel training,we first need to reform the current student evaluation mode in secondary vocational schools. The current evaluation method of secondary vocational school students follows the practice of general schools, which does not evaluate students scientifically and comprehensively, restricts the development of students and restricts the development of secondary vocational education. In general, the purpose of vocational education is to cultivate skilled workers who meet the requirements of the society and have comprehensive professional ability. The employer is the epitome of the society. Its employment satisfaction and the demand for the quality of workers are the most direct criteria to measure the qualification of professional workers.Based on the needs of the employers and the needs of the sustainable development of secondary vocational school students, the evaluation system of secondary vocational school students should be constructed to carry out the developing students evaluation, which meets with the needs of the state for training high-quality skilled talents, and is in line with the reality of the evaluation of the students in the secondary vocational schools.Secondary vocational schools have their commonalities and individual differences. The case study of student evaluation is more targeted and operational. This study takes Guangdong Foreign Trade School as a research sample, and explores how to build a secondary vocational school-based student evaluation system based on the needs of employers.First of all, investigation and analysis of the demand for personnel quality related to the sample school counterparts are carried out to know the attitude of the employer to the current secondary vocational graduates' ability, and to understand what ability structure of the graduates the employers want. Then through the questionnaire survey and interview,we know the status of the student evaluation system in the sample school and analyze the problem of the student evaluation mechanism, which is the basis for the construction of the new evaluation system. In addition,we should seek more bases from the theory, policy and reality in order to determine the new school based student evaluation criteria and evaluation indicators, and build a new evaluation index system.Secondly, according to all the bases,we should scientifically design the steps, methods and strategies for the construction of secondary vocational school-based student evaluation system. The primary step of the construction of the secondary vocational students' evaluation system is to establish the evaluation mechanism model, and analyze the structure of the model from the evaluation stage, the evaluation content, the evaluation method and the feedback mechanism.Next is the formulation of evaluation criteria, and then the formulation, selection and weight setting of evaluation indicators. Finally, through the experimental class and the control class experiment, the new school-based student evaluation mechanism is proved to be able to promote the overall development of the students, evaluate and identify the students scientifically and objectively, and better meet the needs of the development of the employers and students.
