The research on the social behavior of primary school students is widely concerned by the society and many scholars.It is found that there are some problems in the social behavior of primary school students according to previous literature works and practical observation.In this study,the author uses the way based on group counseling to influence social behavior's internal factors which is based on emotional intelligence and external factors.It can improve social behavior of primary school students and make regulatory effects because of the group norms of peer groups during the process.This study is based on the second grade students of Wenzhou University town affiliated school in the Wenzhou City.Four classes were randomly selected and divided into experimental group and control group.The control group develops by themselves and won't be interfered.At the same time,the experimental group carried out the group activities based on the theory of psychology including the group activities on the theme of promoting emotional intelligence and improving peer relationships.In the group counseling process of emotional intelligence module,help students get positive emotional experience from five aspects:recognizing emotions,recognizing and dealing with their emotions,recognizing other's emotions,managing other's emotions and self-motivating.In the group counseling process of peer relationship module,we help students from interpersonal relationship from eight aspects,namely,recognizing themselves,praising others,learning to trust resolving conflicts.Once a week and twelve times will be over.Do the class drama scale,the emotional intelligence scale,peer nomination questionnaire,and social cognitive map for the experimental group and the control group respectively before and after the experiment.All the questionnaires have good reliability and validity.Group counseling is used to evaluate and measure the effects of primary school pupils' social behavior.It combines quantitative data analysis and qualitative analysis of interview results.The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.group counseling can improve pupils' social behavior,promote more social behavior,reduce aggressive behavior and social withdraw behavior.2.The group norms of peer groups have played a regulatory effect in the process of group counseling.The results of this study can be used in primary schools.
