The continuous advancement of the urbanization process and the continuous development of the population aging trend have led to an increasing trend of family migration of the floating population.The parents of a large number of only children have come to the relocation city for the purpose of family reunion or taking care of grandchildren or children.The formation of the Chinese characteristics of the migration of the elderly group "Lao Piao Zu".However,due to the heterogeneity of the group itself,government or community-level support measures cannot play a full role,making the intervention of individual social work an inevitable trend.In this paper,through the combing of the literature on migrating the elderly at home and abroad,and based on the interview data and scale measurement results obtained during the survey,the“old drifting family”is divided into two types:active migration and passive migration.It was found that the motives for the migration of the two types of old people are different from their own conditions,and the forms of urban maladjustment are not all the same.The main causes of urban maladjustment for the active migration elderly are concentrated in the intergenerational relationship and social scope.The main manifestations of maladaptation in cities include poor housing,sensitive emotional vulnerability,frustrated authoritative status,and boring life.The main reason for the passive migration elderly urban maladjustment is concentrated in the individual's negative emotions and lack of their own resources.The main manifestations of urban maladjustment are physical diseases,emotional malaise,instigated concepts,communication barriers,and barriers.For the active transfer type of elderly,I mainly use the combination of task center and structural family treatment mode,in order to bring the owner's own potential into full play,and focus on the inter-generational conflict to solve the task.For the passively migrating old people who have certain problems in their own resources and cognition,they mainly adopt a social psychotherapy model to explore the life experiences before and after the elderly's migration and introduce family support to jointly improve their adaptability.The results show that:With the help of social workers,the two cases have all improved their urban adaptability,solved their own major problems,received family support,regained their confidence in life,and are willing to accept themselves as a proactive new life.
