Lately,a widely spread of problems in associated with job burnout have been observed among the group of university administrative personnel in China.It has been rendered as a major professional hazard and an invisible “killer” towards the health of university administrative personnel.However,current studies on such problems are insufficient.The object of this study is to reveal the secret which formed such problems and seek solutions by applying theories and study the results carried out by both domestic and abroad studies.This study not only broadens the view of public management study,but also provides a more sufficient approach of university management towards the aim of constructing a harmonious university campus.After extensive studies on contemporary literature and investigation of patterns of university management in China,the thesis aims to develop a suitable job burnout scale for university administrative personnel and use SPSS to verify its reliability and validity.Through the investigation of definition of university administrative personnel,the study of the reasons and status of job burnout,the in-depth analysis of three layer system of university administrative personnel,university organization and society,together with 110 samples collected from three universities and the use of Eviews software,the thesis uses the structural equation model and multiple linear regression analysis to verify the research hypothesis,and puts forward strategies to mitigate university personnel job burnout in the perspective of policy recommendations.
