Research On The Construction Of New Style Think Tank In Hubei Colleges And Universities

In order to promote the construction of a new think tank,in 2014,the government issued a "plan for promoting the construction of a new type of University think tank with Chinese characteristics",which clearly defined the important position of universities in the process of construction,and promoted the important role of colleges and universities in Hubei in the construction of new think tanks.Hubei province is an important province in the central region of China.In order to accomplish the important strategic objectives of the rise of the central region and the innovation and development of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,the Hubei province has accelerated the construction of a new type of think tank and encouraged all universities to play an active role in the policy consultation.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to make a thorough understanding of the current situation of the construction of a new style think tank in Hubei's colleges and universities,to make an objective study of the existing problems and causes,and to put forward the pertinent suggestions and strategies.The research on the construction of a new type of College think tank with Hubei characteristics is beneficial to the optimization of higher education quality,the improvement of scientific research ability and the construction of the talent team,as well as the better service for the economic development of Hubei province and China,and the realization of the win-win situation of the two.This paper adopts literature analysis,network research and other research methods.(1)To define the introduction and connotation of think tank,University think tank and new type think tank,and clarify the goals and construction ideas of the construction of new type think tanks with characteristics of colleges and universities.(2)Based on the actual situation of the construction of the University think tanks in Hubei Province,37 University think tanks in Hubei are selected as an example.The development process,the service field and the preliminary results of the construction of the new style think tanks in Hubei colleges and universities are analyzed.In the course of construction,the University think tank of Hubei has established a characteristic subject think tank and expanded the characteristic regional think tank.It has formed a collaborative and innovative high-end think tank,which is in a period of gradual transition to a new type of intelligent think tank,and has achieved certain development results,but many problems have been exposed in the process of promotion.(3)There are some problems in the design and layout,the staffing,the research results of the think tank and the think tank system in Hubei University.The reasons are mainly due to the unidentified location of the think tank,the lack of perfect talent introduction and management system,the disunity of the research direction of the think tank and the government,the low practicality of the think tank and the fund raising.The method is single and so on.(4)In view of the problems existing in Hubei's University think tank,this paper puts forward the countermeasures from several aspects,such as the strategic layout,the system perfection,the external environment,the internal organization structure,the staffing and the influence of the think tank,so as to promote the benign development of the new type think tank with the characteristics of Hubei.
