Since the 21st century,all countries have attached great importance to cultivating qualified citizens with all-round quality.Education reforms in the world are actively advancing.With the development of the times,China's original basic education curriculum reform has been difficult to meet the requirements of the times.In this context,in order to promote quality education,China's eighth basic education curriculum reform came into being.As a valuable educational method,sports has the irreplaceable role of other courses.With the advancement of sports curriculum reform,people pay more and more attention to school physical education.Jimo is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Shandong Province.With its long history,splendid culture,numerous populations,and developed economy,Jimo has strong comprehensive strength in county-level cities across the country.In 2017,Jimo withdrew from the city,and on October 30th,Jimo District was officially listed.Jimo entered a new period of development.In this context,this article takes the current status of physical education in junior high schools in Jimo District as the research object,selects 20 physical education teachers and 900 students from 6 junior high schools in Jimo District as the survey subjects,and uses literature data,questionnaires,and expert interviews.The law and data analysis survey the status quo of physical education in junior high schools in Jimo District,and strive to truly understand the current status of junior middle school physical education in Jimo District,and seek improvement measures in light of its shortcomings to promote the promotion of physical education in junior high school in Jimo District.Through the investigation,the following conclusions are drawn:1.The physical education teachers in the junior high school in Jimo district are younger,the sex ratio is out of balance,the workload is basically reasonable,the level of academic qualifications is higher but the title structure is lower;the status of physical education teachers' research is poor,and the training content is wider,and there are more opportunities but fewer channels.He is more familiar with the new curriculum standard and is willing to actively participate in teaching reform practice,but his job satisfaction is low.2.The lack of physical education in junior high school in Jimo District,the phenomenon of physical education class being invaded still exists,physical education classes can not be reasonably arranged in inclement weather;classroom teaching objectives can better reflect the concept of the new curriculum standard but difficult to implement;teaching content is rich However,most of them are based on the sports entrance exam plus project,and are separated from students' interests and needs.3.At present,the teaching methods and organizational forms of junior high school in Jimo District are more traditional,but there are plans to open elective courses in the school;the evaluation of physical education teaching can basically reflect the requirements of the new curriculum,but the evaluation subject and evaluation accuracy still need to be further improved..4.The majority of junior high school students in Jimo District have low satisfaction and participation in the current physical education classes;the motivation and rewards of students' physical education are out of the physical education goals and have less practical gains.5.The physical education teaching management mechanism in junior high schools in Jimo District is sound,but its role in actual implementation is relatively small.School leaders pay less attention to physical education;school information-based teaching equipment is relatively complete,but sports funds are less,sports ground and equipment are many but not enough.Based on the results of the above study,the following suggestions are made:1.Establish the concept of quality education and strengthen the management of school physical education.2.Improve the quality of sports teaching staff from multiple perspectives.3.Improve school physical education content and methods,and promote students'enthusiasm for participating in sports learning.4.Actively explore the physical education teaching form suitable for school teaching.5.Through a variety of channels to increase sports funding,improve the physical conditions of school sports.
