Due to the rapid development of China’s economy and social transformation,left-behind children in rural areas have become a widespread concern of all walks of life.Previous studies have shown that left-behind children are confronted with many problems during their growth,such as high learning pressure,low self-esteem and negative psychology,emotional distress,narrow space for social participation,estrangement from parent-child relationship,and low resilience.But that doesn’t mean they are “problem children”.Previous studies have shown that some children are able to shrug off risk factors and show good social adjustment in the face of adversity.This ability to compete with risk factors in the environment is resilience,which can help left-behind children face difficulties and challenges more actively.In this study,8 rural left-behind children in A primary school in L Village were taken as the research objects to carry out group work intervention research on the improvement of resilience.Through questionnaire survey and interview,children’s stress resistance level was investigated and analyzed from two dimensions of individual and external force.The causes of low resilience were analyzed in depth,mainly focusing on five factors including goal focus,emotion control,positive cognition,family support and interpersonal assistance.According to analysis results,this study based on the advantage of perspective and art theory,art force four factors as breakthrough point,focus on the exploration of left-behind children individual inner force and contact with environment,carry out growth group work intervention to promote the children’s art force,and through the questionnaire before and after the test to evaluate intervention work.After 8 group interventions,the results showed that there were significant changes in the pre and post test scores of rural left-behind children’s resilience growth group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Therefore,the enhancement of the ability of goal focus,emotion control,positive cognition and interpersonal assistance has a positive promoting effect on the improvement of children’s resilience.The results show that group work intervention under the guidance of advantage perspective and resilience theory can improve children’s social competence and enhance peer group support.Enhance the ability to control emotions,and discover their strengths and potential,set appropriate goals to promote the continuous progress of individuals,so as to change the negative perception and enhance the sense of selfidentity,improve their resilience.This study proposes countermeasures and suggestions based on the relevant aspects of the problem,including the government,schools,families and communities.The government should play a leading role by formulating policies to pay more attention to left-behind children.Excavate and cultivate talents for social work;We will promote the revitalization of rural industries and increase people’s incomes.Schools through the establishment of archives for case management,attention to children’s physical and mental health;To cultivate highquality teachers;Rationalization of teaching arrangements to provide more opportunities and space for left-behind children to participate;Close communication with parents to form a good home-school interaction model.The family improves the way of upbringing,improves the parent-child relationship,and helps children establish correct concepts.Communities play their own functions,create a good atmosphere for caring for left-behind children,and publicize and advocate correct concepts and modes of education.
