Objective:Tennis baseline practice with short distance and change of direction movement is an important movement methods of tennis players in training and competition, but the study of the energy contributions of those movement method was relatively lacking. The aim of this study was to investigate the energy contributions characteristics?duration, distance and frequency?of college tennis players tennis baseline practice with short distance and change of direction movement.Methods:16 specific college tennis player come from school physical education and sport training of Shanghai university of sport volunteers to this study?age 22.2±1.7yrs,height175±5cm,mass 69.2±6.1kg,training experience 4.3±2.4yrs,tennis training experience 2.3±0.8yrs?.The subject performed a hit&turn tennis test?H&TTT?and four tennis baseline practice with short distance and change of direction movement tests. The corresponding duration, change direction distance and frequency was:1min-2m-20 stroke/min,2min-2m-20 stroke/min,1min-4m-20 stroke/min and 1min-2m-30 stroke/min.A portable spirometric system was utilized, blood lactic and rating of perceived exertion?RPE?is also measured. The energy contributions were calculated with the method based on the accumulated oxygen uptake, and accumulate blood lactate during the maximal exercise,as well as the fast part of the oxygen uptake kinetics during the recovery.Result:The mean heart rate(HRmean),mean oxygen uptake(VO2mean),net accumulation blood lactate?BLa?,and RPE were increased significantly with increasing duration, change of direction distance and frequency(P<0.05,except HRmeanean and VO2meanmean with increasing change of direction frequency). There was no significant difference in anaerobic alactic energy contributions?P>0.05?,but anaerobic lactic energy contributions was significant increased?P<0.05?,and aerobic energy contributions was significant increased?P<0.05,except increasing change of direction frequency?with increasing movement duration, change of direction distance and frequency;Significant reduce in the relative anaerobic alactic energy contributions with increasing movement duration, change of direction distance and frequency?P<0.05?.Relative anaerobic lactic energy contributions was reduce with increasing movement duration?P>0.05?,but significant increased with increasing change of direction distance and frequency?P<0.05?.Relative aerobic energy contributions was increased significantly with increasing duration?P<0.05?,but reduce with increasing change of direction distance?P>0.05?and frequency?P<0.05?.Conclusion:Relative anaerobic alactic, anaerobic lactic, aerobic energy contributions of college tennis players tennis baseline practice with short distance and change of direction movement was32.141.7%,14.830.4%and 33.961.9%,respectively.The duration, change of direction distance and the frequency all influence the energy contributions of the tennis baseline practice with short distance and change of direction movement. However, the effect on the energy contributions was difference.Increasing the duration of the movement mainly increases the stimulation of the aerobic energy system, and increasing the change of direction distance and frequency of reversal mainly increases the stimulation of the glycolysis energy system.
