At present,a study on key competencies in education circle is in full swing,and fruitful theoretic and practical results have been reaped.Teachers of all disciplines and grades are beginning to discuss what exactly the key competencies include and how to realize them.Primary education is the starting period of nine-year compulsory education process,and as the fundamental subject of all basic subjects,Chinese plays a multifunction role in laying the foundation for the entire nine-year education and life long education process as a whole.Therefore,the cultivation of students' key competences is supposed to be the priority for the whole primary Chinese teaching process.With the references of Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standards(Version of2011),which is also the guideline of textbook compilation,teaching,evaluation and the design of test papers,the writer is going to conduct a detailed coding analysis of the distribution of the key competencies' 18 aspects in the three-stage academic goal with the help of such research methods as literature study method,comparative study method and content analysis method.In this way,relevant suggestions can be made according to the key competencies embodied in course of primary Chinese teaching.This thesis is divided into five parts,.Firstly introduce the source of the topic,meanings of studies,literature review,methods of studies and the contents and framework of the thesis.It also gives the definition of key competencies,encoding methods and results of the encoding analysis.What follow behind are the connotations and requirements that four key competencies:cultural inheritance,interest in learning,the consciousness of information,and problem-solving ability in primary Chinese.Moreover,the analysis of the manifested features of key competencies in primary Chinese is conducted as well.Lastly,with the guidance of the experience from great teachers and teaching practice of my own,some instructional strategies as to the achievement of four key competencies are put forward for the references of first-line teachers.
