Research On National Defense Education Innovation Of College Students

Chinese people are working hard to realize the dream of national rejuvenation as soon as possible,and also hope that all the countries throughout the world are able to coexist peacefully,develop together and respect each other.Nowadays,the international security situation is facing great changes.Our country is supposed to defend its sovereignty from other countries’ interference,adhere to One-China principle,defend the country’s each inch of land and safeguard national security.Therefore,it is necessary to launch the military defense activities in colleges and universities.It is the mighty army and modern national defense that maintain the peace and stability of a country and its citizens.National defense education,as an important component of national defense construction,is a social system project to strengthen national defense awareness,forge national spirit and improve national defense quality.With the deepening reform of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party,under the correct leadership of Comrade Xi Jinping as the core of the CPC Central Committee,under the guidance of Xi Jinping’s thought of the New Era Socialism with Chinese characteristics,especially Xi Jinping’s educational thought,China’s educational undertakings have achieved all-round achievements and profound changes have taken place.The status and role of national defense education for university students in higher education talent cultivation is becoming more and more important.It has a decisive and positive impact on improving students’ comprehensive quality,enhancing college students’ opinions of personal defense,training students to become high-quality reserve soldiers and reserve officers.The author was a national naval defense graduate from a local university.After graduation,the author was assigned to the naval defense forces and got military science degree from the PLA Dalian Naval Academy.With years of experience in the political work of the elementary units of the Navy’s North Sea Fleet,plus 10 years’ national defense education teaching experience in a local university,having consulted a lot of literature and analyzed comparative studies,coupled with the professional theoretical background,the author has the ability to do this research,wishing to contribute to the development of national defense education of higher education and offer help to peers who are engaged in national defense education.National defense education for college students in China has made remarkable progress in the past 60 years,but there still exist some problems in some ways and there is much room for further promotion and development.This essay,based on a large number of references to the relevant laws and regulations in the literature at home and abroad,on the careful examination and research,and on the statistical analysis of the effective questionnaire,proposed the corresponding countermeasure research and innovation to cope with the common problems and deficiencies in the process of the national defense education in colleges and universities in China.Summarizing the valuable experiences in this aspect of the United States,Russia,Japan,India and other countries,this research has great significance in enhancing the effectiveness of the university national defense education and promoting the sustainable development of the national defense education in colleges and universities.
