Study On The Problem Of Healthy Aging Of Rural Population In Longyang District Of Baoshan City In Yunnan Province

In the background that Yunnan’s per capita GDP is lower than China’s per capita GDP,the population development of Yunnan province has entered the aging stage.The proportion of the population aged 60 and older rises fast in proportion undulation,speed of ageing accelerated obviously.The population aging in Yunnan has the following characteristics.The cultural level of the aging population is lower than that of the whole country.The degree of aging is slightly lower than the national level.Population aging degree in rural areas is higher than in the cities and towns,The sex ratio of the elderly population is low,and national and regional disparities are obvious.In order to promote the solution to the problem of health aging in underdeveloped rural areas,strengthen the research on current healthy aging,aim to find a right and scientific way for promoting healthy aging of rural population.In this paper,the author studies 284 rural residents aged 60 and elder.They are the residents in Longyang district of Baoshan city.With the self-designed Elderly Questionnaire,empirical study on the healthy aging of rural population.First of all,the analysis is conducted gradually on healthy aging in four dimensions of physical health,mental health,family support and participation.Secondly,the author of this paper selective analyses the differences in gender,age,occupation,educational background,marital status and other demographic differences as well as the differences results caused by whether the aged people cared for by their children in their side or not and enjoy medical insurance or not as well by their financial statuses,cluster analysis was conducted on the elderly population.Finally,analyze their needs for health by investigating their health care service needs and elderly life.On the basis of the above analysis,to promote the solution to the problem of rural population health aging,the author of this paper proposes the suggestions for ensuring their personal health,financial support,group health and good social support.
