The Research Of The Course Choosing System Under The Students' Own Choice

The introduction of the new College Entrance Examination has attracted the attention of all sectors of society.The reform of the Academic Level Test abolished the Department of Liberal Arts and Sciences,and asked the students to choose their own subjects independently.There are up to 20 kinds of results of students' choices.In order to ensure students' independent choices,the ordinary senior high schools are going to reform the single administration of class,carry out the Optional Classes System gradually.It is the trend of the senior high school teaching reform.The purpose of this research is to realize the policy and process of the Optional Classes System in real school under the students' choosing perspective,collect the relevant survey data,policy text,design of school guidance,analyze the factors affecting students' independent choice based on the interviews and questionnaires,have a better understanding of real state of students in the Optional Classes System.Based on the these,the research tries to find the problem of the current Optional Classes System and put forward some proposals.The whole process of the Optional Classes System has five links while the Students' choosing is the most crucial link.They made their own decision based on their good self cognition.The most important influence factors of the students' choosing is the students themselves,including their own interest and ability.Secondly,the College Entrance Examination System is the main factor--the pressure and results of College Entrance Examination.Finally,the advices from the students' peer group,parents and teachers is another factor.Besides,students in Optional Classes System have a good overall living condition.The peer group interaction has not been affected by "mobility",they have a good sense of career and life planning.However,from the perspective of students' independent choice,the Optional Classes System also has some problems which should be improved.This research suggests that we should improve the arrangement of the time and course in Academic Level of the Test as soon as possible,carry out the students' career and life planning education in advance,and set up the system of school guidance to help students know himself,know society,and looking forward to the future.
