In the context of disciplinary society, students' normative behavior mainly serves the efficient operation of school.School uses various disciplinary techniques and means to enable students to form normative behaviors, but in this way, students' normative behaviors transfer poorly due to the lack of morality. This study collected rich information on relevant subjects by non-participating observations and semi-structured interviews. Then this paper described and analyzed the discipline and resistance happening in the classroom of Class B in a rural primary School A.Students' normative behavior is mainly formed through the control of time, activities, rituals, and other mechanism under the control of hierarchical network monitoring, standardized judgments and inspections. However, students are not completely tamed in the process of being disciplined, and students resist mainly by showing no normative behaviors when discipline techniques are absent.Based on the disciplinary training students have received and the resistance they have shown, this study explores the subject of students' failure to transfer normative behaviors. The following conclusions are drawn from this study:(1)Disciplinary training leads students to develop normative behavior but their habitual persistence is poor;(2)Children's resistance behavior is a revolt against adult arbitrariness;(3)Some faults appear in the transmission of the authority of the norm;(4)Discipline technology itself has inhibited the moral growth in the norm.On this basis, this study proposes relevant educational suggestions:(1)The establishment of school norms should distinguish between management functions and moral functions;(2)The formulation and supervision of school norms should emphasize student participation;(3)The school should use relevant teaching activities to deepen students' normative cognition.
