With the development of new technologies and sciences,the demand of applied talents for high-level technology is continuously increasing.The University of Applied Sciences should take the responsibility of cultivating applied talents for high-level technology and achieving transformation and development.Therefore,it is particularly important for students in the University of Applied Sciences to assess the status of vocational competence by use scientific vocational competence assessment methods.In addition,University students should pay attention to the influence factors for application of vocational competence.After making the vocational competence assessments and investigating their influence factors,a proposal for training applied technology students should be put forwarded.This study uses KOMET's vocational competence assessment task to test the volume by distinguishing the vocational competence of students in the University of Applied Sciences and uses impact factor questionnaires to analyze the various factors that affect the vocational competence of applied science university students.Through the data analysis of the evaluation results and the survey results,the following conclusions are drawn:First,KOMET's vocational competence assessment task test paper is applicable to the assessment of vocational competence of students in the University of Applied Sciences:Second,the level of vocational competence of students in the University of Applied Sciences is generally low;students mainly live in nominal capacity,69.7%of students are nominal competence level,29.9%of students are functional competence level,only 0.4%of students are designing competence level,and no student achieves integrated design competence level;among 8 first-level indicators,the scores of the eight first-level indicators are at a relatively low level.Regarding other indicators,K1(intuitiveness and display),K2(functionality),K3(use value-oriented),and K5(business process and work process orientation)got relatively high scores,while K4(economical),K6(social acceptance),K7(environmental),and K8(creative).The lowest score is K7(environmental)showed relatively low scores;Third,students in the University of Applied Sciences have higher enthusiasm,vocational identity,good interpersonal relationships.There are significant differences in the vocational competence for different grades of the University of Applied Sciences students in the vocational competence development.There is a significant correlation between the vocational competence of students in the University of Applied Sciences and the number of certificates obtained,the exchange of practical training and guidance personnel,and the situation of interpersonal communication on campus.Therefore,based on the above mentioned conclusions,this study combines the experience of foreign talents training in the University of Applied Sciences and provide suggestions for the training of competence in the University of Applied Sciences.In practice,the University of Applied Sciences should devise human resources training obj ectives by developing vocational qualification certificate courses with the characteristics of applied technology undergraduate education.Furthermore,the University of Applied Sciences enterprise cooperation practice teaching system can be gradually improved,which is very important for training the students' interpersonal skills.
