Practice teaching ensures the quality of higher vocational education.Practice has proved that TAFE college practice teaching plays an extremely important role in the development of vocational education in Australia.This thesis takes the case of TAFE College of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Jiangxi Modern Vocational Technical College as examples.It compares Australian TAFE with practice teaching research in higher vocational colleges in Australia in terms of teaching philosophy,curriculum,teachers,business participation,and sources of funding.Reference and Reference for Practical Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges in China TAFE Academy's practical teaching features the teaching concept of competence-based,practicality of curriculum setting,teacher team construction,business participation in practical teaching,and diversified funding sources.This article takes practical teaching as the leading factor,adopts the comparative research method,literature research method,case analysis method,etc.and compares and analyzes the Australian TAFE and practical teaching problems in higher vocational colleges in China according to the basic ideas of “investigation of the current situation—comparative analysis of the issues—making recommendations”.And got Australian TAFE inspiration to our country's practical teaching.The author went through the investigation and research of Jiangxi Modern Vocational and Technical College,which was rated as "National Backbone Vocational College," aiming at the curriculum setting of its demonstration specialty,that is,the architectural engineering technology major,the student's off-campus internship process and effect,and the training of teachers' practical ability.The school-enterprise cooperation and the source of funding for practical teaching were fielded and joined in the teaching and research section of the School of Architecture and Engineering of the school.The actual situation of the internship of the professional student and the practical training of the teacher'spractical ability were carried out with the school leaders and the dedicated and part-time teachers.Specifically discuss and analyze and make corresponding improvement plans.The architectural project is a predominant specialty of TAFE at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and it ranks among the top ten in the world.This dissertation compares and analyzes the curriculum planning,curriculum setting,training objectives,and faculty of the two major schools of architectural engineering technology,and concludes that there are pr oblems in the process of practical teaching in our country and puts forward specific suggest ions.This paper consists of the following five parts:Chapter One Introduction.This part mainly includes the research background,research ideas and methods,relevant literature research at home and abroad,research significance and innovation,as well as the definition of Australia TAFE,higher vocational education and practical teaching.The second chapter,Australian TAFE practical teaching research-taking the TAFE College of RMIT as an example.This part mainly focuses on the ability-based teaching philosophy,the practicality of curriculum setting,the practical courses,the construction of teachers,the participation of enterprises in practical teaching,and the source of funding.The third chapter,the practical teaching research in our country's higher vocational colleges-taking Jiangxi Modern Vocational and Technical College as an example.This part mainly studies the practical teaching of the higher vocational colleges in China from the teaching concept of knowledge-based teaching,curriculum-based theoretical courses,out-of-social needs,teacher team construction,business participation in practical teaching,and funding sources.Chapter IV,Comparative Study of Australian TAFE and Practical Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges in China.This part mainly compares Australian TAFE with practical teaching in higher vocational colleges in China from the aspects of teaching philosophy,curriculum,teaching staff,business participation and funding sources.The fifth chapter,the Australian TAFE inspiration to practical teaching in our country's higher vocational colleges.This section points out that higher vocational colleges in China need to pay attention to practical teaching,change teaching concepts,pay attention to the practice of curriculum setting,build “dual-qualified” teachers,strengthen the participation of enterprises in practical teaching,and improve the conditions of practical teaching.
