Experimental Research On The Teaching Effect Of Tennis Elective Courses In Colleges And Universities Using The Game Pedagogy To Assist In Teaching

Abstract/Summary:
Tennis is an interesting ball game,which is rapidly popularized in China.In order to improve the quality of tennis teaching and enrich tennis teaching methods,the teaching experiment method is used to explore the teaching effect of breakthrough game teaching method in public sports tennis elective courses in Colleges and universities.The experiment adopts the way of "taking breakthrough as the main line,teachers as the leading and students as the theme".Through the carrier of breakthrough game,it completes the teaching task,makes the teaching interesting,changes the single examination form and innovates the teaching methods.This paper is mainly based on experimental method,supplemented by literature,expert interview,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics,logical analysis and other research methods.The subjects of the experiment were 90 students of public sports tennis elective course in Longyan college,Fujian Province.According to the students’ physical quality and basic situation,the students were divided into two classes: the experimental group and the control group,with 45 people in each group.A 16 week tennis teaching experiment was carried out on the outdoor tennis court of Longyan college.The control group was taught with conventional teaching methods,including explanation and demonstration,group training and teacher error correction;The experimental group used breakthrough game teaching,including conventional teaching methods and game breakthrough.After the experiment,the experimental data are analyzed and compared,and the differences between the two teaching methods in teaching effect are found.The research conclusions are as follows:1.There is no significant difference between the breakthrough game teaching method and the control group in improving students’ tennis skills.According to the tennis skill test data of students’ final examination,the independent sample t-test found that there were significant differences in forehand stroke between the two classes(P < 0.05);There was no significant difference in backhand stroke,double duel and upper hand service.2.The breakthrough game teaching method has more obvious effect in improving students’ learning interest than the control group.After 16 weeks of study,the independent sample t-test of the questionnaire data found that the students had extremely significant differences in novelty,challenge and overall feeling(P < 0.01),significant differences in pleasure(P < 0.05),and no significant differences in attention and exploration(P > 0.05).It shows that the breakthrough game teaching method is more effective than the control group in improving students’ pleasure,novelty,challenge and overall feeling,and there is no significant difference in attention and exploration compared with the control group.3.Compared with the control group,students are more satisfied with breakthrough game teaching.The interesting form of breakthrough divides the teaching objectives into several small objectives.Students gradually achieve the teaching objectives in the process of breakthrough from easy to difficult.The interesting form of breakthrough improves students’ enthusiasm in class.The teaching method of the control group has a general effect on improving students’ enthusiasm.According to the questionnaire results of the experimental group and the control group,the students in the experimental group are more satisfied with the teaching method of breakthrough game teaching method.4.After using the breakthrough game teaching method,students’ after-school tennis participation is better.Compared with the control group,the students in the experimental group have higher practice times and practice duration per week,the students in the control group have lower practice times and duration per week,and the students in the experimental group have better tennis practice after class.The suggestions are as follows: 1 Breakthrough game teaching method can be combined with other teaching methods;2.In the process of using the breakthrough game teaching method,we should pay attention to the psychological development of students;3.Teachers should constantly improve their own ability,innovate teaching methods and improve students’ learning efficiency;4.Share tennis teaching videos after class to make students practice more efficiently after class.
