In an era of knowledge economy,it is self-evident the importance of education on our society and economic development, however, the steady development of education and the extremely significant enlargement of the residents income distribution gap is contradict each other.Under the background of the Public Finance and Education Science, based on the human capital theory, income distribution theory and so on,the paper discusses how the financial education funds affect the income distribution. In the context of the disciplines of finance and pedagogy, this paper takes the theory of human capital and income distribution as the theoretical basis, and discusses the transmission mechanism of fiscal education funding that affects income distribution gaps.It is assumed that fiscal education funds will narrow the income distribution gap.First of all,we card the income distribution theory and inductive factors which affect the distribution of income, then it indicates that education is essential to income distribution;and because the education has the characteristics of(quasi)public goods,it leads to the conclusion financial education funds affect residents' income distribution.Secondly, this paper introduces the current situation of our country resident's income distribution gap and financial education funds. We define the concept of the income distribution gap and select an indicator, and then use the chart and other ways to describe the gini coefficient and financial education funds including total amount, source structure and different education levels etc..After that,we use the data of financial education funds and income distribution across1997-2015 in our country, and the empirical study reviews the financial education funds is positively related to gini coefficient, namely the more input of financial education funds, the greater the gap between rich and poor will be,and compulsory education, high school education, higher education and is positive correlated to the gini coefficient.Although the empirical result is inconsistent with the hypothesis of this paper,to some extent,it is explained the large income distribution gap in China. Finally, the empirical results are interpreted respectively and corresponding policy suggestions have been put forward.
