With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization in China,new generations of migrant workers have become the main force of urban economic construction.Promoting the integration of the new generation of migrant workers is not only the internal need of our country's new urbanization construction,but also the righteousness of each new generation of migrant workers to improve their living conditions.However,the new generation of migrant workers is facing obstacles in the process of citizen integration,causing the imbalance of their mentality.Most of them have a guest mentality,marginal psychology,and a low level of psychological capital.As the field where the new generation of migrant workers lives,community education has a unique advantage in improving individual cultural quality,skill level and mental health status.Therefore,community education for the new generation of migrant workers is of great significance for improving their psychological capital and overall quality,and promoting urban integration and social harmony.In this study,the new generation of migrant workers in Guangdong Province was selected as the survey object.First,a questionnaire survey was conducted to analyze the status of psychological capital.The survey found that the psychological capital of the new generation of migrant workers is low,and the higher the level of education,the higher the level of psychological capital.Secondly,based on the fact that the new generation of migrant workers has a low level of psychological capital,theory analyse that community education has the advantage in raising their psychological capital.Then the Huangpu District of Guangzhou City and Gangtou Community of Shenzhen City,were selected to carry out relevant empirical researches.The analysis found that community education is effective in improving the psychological capital of the new generation of migrant workers,but there are some development difficulties and deficiencies.Finally,based on the theoretical analysis and empirical findings,this study proposes the path to improve community education: constructing community education models which is suitable for the new generation of migrant workers,with a view to raise their psychological capital level and accelerate urban integration into cities.
