Research On The Relationship Between The Psychological Capital And Educational Background Of The New Generation Migrant Workers

With the advancing of urbanization,the new generation of migrant workers had become the main force of labor market in our country.But the level of mental capital is an important basis for labor.Many new generation of migrant workers with the low level of psychological capital,who are not only facing great pressure to survive in the city,but also affected its contribution as an important labor force on urban construction.Although having many factors that affect the level of psychological capital,this study mainly focuses on the relationship between educational background and psychological capital in order to explore the impact of educational background on the psychological capital,which will have a positive social significance.This study base on the psychological capital theory,life-long education theory,supplemented by two-factor theory and social support theory.By investigating the new generation of migrant workers in Guangzhou,we found that,the educational background of the new generation of migrant workers and psychological capital are significantly positive correlations.That is,the new generation of migrant workers who have high education and have participated in continuing education,which the level of mental capital are higher.At the second,the new generation of migrant workers have a higher proportion,whose the low degree of education and who did not participate in the continuing education.This leads to the psychological capital new generation of migrant workers are at a low level.In view of the problems found in the investigation and analysis,this paper analyzes the causes which are from the perspective of the educational background leads to lower mental capital.And put forward the corresponding improvement measures in order to achieve improving the psychological capital of the new generation of migrant workers.
