Compared with their predecessors,the new generation of migrant workers are more eager to integrate into the city and take root in the city.However,due to the influence of their education,skills,capital and other factors,many new generation of migrant workers are in the edge of modern society and have not really integrated into the city where they work and live.At present,although the new generation of migrant workers have improved their sense of belonging to the city,there are many problems,such as lack of protection of rights and interests,high work pressure,low income satisfaction,low sense of happiness,embarrassment of identity and so on.To promote the new generation of migrant workers into the city,which is not only conducive to promoting the new generation of migrant workers’ self growth and development,but also conducive to improving the quality of urban construction and development.This study is based on the perspective of new generation migrant workers’ urban integration,taking the new generation of migrant workers in Changzhou as the research object,on the basis of social integration theory,social mobility theory and social support theory,etc.It adopts the methods of literature research,expert interview and questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the current situation of supply and demand of continuing education for the new generation of migrant workers in Changzhou,the impact on urban integration,existing problems and root causes,and puts forward countermeasures.The results show that continuing education has a significant impact on the urban integration of the new generation of migrant workers in Changzhou.It is specifically shown as follows,Continuing education can enhance the cognition,psychology and ability of the new generation of migrant workers.However,due to the lack of continuing education,the quality,labor skills and urban integration ability of the new generation of migrant workers in Changzhou are not strong.It is found that the imbalance between supply and demand of continuing education is an important obstacle for the new generation of migrant workers to integrate into the city.This is manifested in the following aspects: There is a serious imbalance between supply and demand in the information release channel,content,time,cost,form and subject of continuing education.The reasons are as follows: from the government level,the main reason is the lack of continuing education system supply for the new generation of migrant workers;from the social level,it is mainly the lack of support for the new generation of migrant workers’ continuing education;from the personal level,it is mainly the lack of endogenous motivation for the new generation of migrant workers’ continuing education.In this regard,the following countermeasures are put forward.Based on the government level,we should establish the organizational system of continuing education for the new generation of migrant workers,optimize the policy system of continuing education for the new generation of migrant workers,build a mechanism of multi-party capital investment,and build a mechanism of supervision and accountability and effect evaluation,so as to provide institutional guarantee for the continuing education and urban integration of the new generation of migrant workers.Based on the social dimension,Colleges and universities should deepen the reform of continuing education for the new generation of migrant workers,Training institutions and enterprises should deepen school enterprise cooperation in running schools,Community should carry out community adult education deeply,The media should reshape the new social image of the new generation of migrant workers,to provide strong social support for the further education and urban integration of the new generation of migrant workers.Based on the personal dimension of the new generation of migrant workers,We should strengthen the ideological consciousness of participating in continuing education,enhance the behavior consciousness of improving professional ability,cultivate the life-long learning and the living habits of urban integration,so that it can better adapt to the city,integrate into the city,and become the master of urban construction and development.
