Chinese teaching materials are one of the main material carriers in Chinese learning and Chinese teaching,as well as the pursuart of Chinese teaching subject.The textbook should meet the characteristics students’ of physical and mental development and adapt to the students’ recognition development level of recognition.Education researchers claim that now Chinese education lacks of its attention from the perspective of children.In other words it ignores the attention of children’s growth needs,it is not suitable for children’s physical and mental development.It is noteworthy that this issue also reflectes in Chinese teaching materials.As the main material carrier of Chinese teaching activities,Chinese textbooks are the most important part of Chinese teaching materials.There are some problems in the selection of current Chinese textbooks during junior middle school,which are characterized from four aspects: the lack of time,the image of children is relatively single,without vivid story content and few children’s images.After analyzing the deficiencies,this thesis puts forward some suggestions for its improvement,I hope it can serve the Chinese teaching in the future.This thesis is divided into three parts: introduction,argument and conclusion.Introduction mainly introduces the theoretical value and practical significance of the research,the research status and literature review,and the perspectives of the research and its method.The argument is mainly discussed from the following aspects.First,the advantages of the children’s perspective in the selection of Chinese textbooks of junior middle school.The writer did quite a few research,based on the works of famous artists,and put them into the thesis,the generalize and summarize which laid a foundation on the current research situation.At the same time,this thesis claims that this edition of Chinese textbook demonstrates children’s innocence,children’s images and language,it highlights the concept of child-based theory.Second,this thesis aims at explaining its insufficiency.As one of the main parts of this thesis,it discusses from the three aspects: the time,the characters’ images and the narrative perspective.The selection of materials presents a strange living condition far away from children’s present living environment,which is not suitable to children’s mental level,and deviates children from their real life.The main characters of in the textbooks are not abundant,instead,it presents the single children’s images.The narrative perspective is mainly elaborated from few texts that belong to children writers and the texts of children.The last,but the most important oneis this thesis puts forward some suggestions for improvement.First of all,the children’s perspective should be close to the present and their real life,such as the advanced deeds of the good people and stories should meet the needs of children’s psychology.Secondly,stories should enrich the images from children’s perspectives.Third,the textbook should pay attention to the diversity of the content.Fourth,the textbook should add excellent children’s works appropriately.In conclusion,the thesis elaborates the argument from the three aspects,which proposes some suggestions from children’s perspectives,by reforming Chinese teaching materials.
