The extensive application of internet and smart phones further enrich the teaching devices in university classes,micro-video teaching is widely employed with its characteristics of "short,brief,concise and flexible",and it is becoming increasingly popular in domestic teaching field.Applying micro-video in college badminton optional course teaching,this article discusses the feasibility of micro video-assisted teaching in college badminton optional course teaching,and whether micro video-assisted teaching will have a positive impact on the improvement of student badminton skills.And then,this will provide guidance for the teaching of college badminton courses,and offer some practical suggestions for the promotion of the micro video-assisted teaching in college badminton optional course teaching.This research adopts the methods of documentary analysis,the experimental teaching method and mathematical statistics,fully analyzes the concept,characteristics,current researches at home and abroad of micro video and research status of the teaching in college badminton optional courses,and divides those sports training students who were enrolled in 2016 at the Inner Mongolia Normal University into two classes in parallel,namely the experimental class and the control class(10 boys and 6 girls in each class),based on the subjects’ actual situation.In the process of teaching,traditional teaching methods are adopted in the control class,while micro video-assisted teaching is adopted in the experimental class,with the teaching contents and teaching schedule of the two classes consistent,the same teacher conducting the lectures,and the same venue facilities and other conditions,for a total of 64 class hour teaching experiment research for 16 weeks.In the final examination,there is a competency assessment and standard test for the two classes students about the skills of forehand drop,forehand smash,backhand stroke high clear,backhand drop and backhand smash,and all the data are entered into EXCEL 2010 for statistical processing and SPSS 20.0 software for applying independent-samples T test of related data,carrying on the comparison and analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:1.Micro-video assisted teaching applied in ordinary university badminton optional class is more beneficial than the traditional one in improving students’ performance of skill evaluation about forehand drop,forehand smash,backhand stroke high clear,backhand drop and backhand smash.2.Micro-video assisted teaching applied in ordinary university badminton selecting class is more advantageous than the traditional one in improving students’ achievement of standard about forehand smash,backhand high clear and backhand smash,but it has little effect on the scores of forehand and backhands drop.3.Adopting micro video-assisted instructions in the university badminton optional course can complement and expand the teaching resources,which is better to arouse the enthusiasm of students,promote the communication between teachers and students and improve the teaching quality compared with the traditional teaching.Based on this research,this paper makes the following suggestions:1.In badminton teaching,we should make use of the advantages of micro-video to make up for the inadequacies of traditional teaching.However,we should grasp an appropriate level of the application of micro-video,but not employ micro-video throughout the entire classroom.We should pay attention to the teacher’s guidance,summary and combine the micro-video with traditional teaching.And then the quality of teaching will be improved.2.Teachers should learn to design and produce micro-videos based on students’ actual situations to make micro-videos more suitable for students.3.Teachers should apply micro-video assisted instruction in badminton class and teach students in accordance of their aptitude so that students can get a better grasp of the skills.
