Scientific literacy,as an important part of the national quality,has always been a subject of considerable concern in China's basic education reform.With the deepening of science education reform,primary school science teachers have become increasingly difficult to meet the growing demand for science education.To this end,the state has increased its efforts in post-secondary education for primary school science teachers,encouraging teachers to participate in research,training,outstanding teaching,and other educational activities to improve the overall level of primary school science teachers.This study takes the Shapingba District of Chongqing as an example.It mainly uses questionnaires,interviews,and mathematical statistics to investigate the situation of post-secondary education of primary school science teachers in Shapingba District,Chongqing Municipality,with a view to strengthening and improving science teachers in primary schools.Post-secondary education for reference.Focuses on the analysis of the status,existing problems and causes of post-service education for elementary science teachers.The results show that the primary school science teachers in Shapingba District have a single form of post-employment education and the contents lack new ideas.The proportion of school-level training is high and the effect is not satisfactory.Primary school science teachers can recognize the importance of after-service education,but their awareness of participation is poor.Some teachers have obvious utilitarian conceptions of participation;contradictions between work and study are outstanding;post-employment education lacks the necessary selection and assessment mechanisms;teachers do not have a strong sense of initiative in post-employment education;assessment results cannot objectively reflect the situation of teachers participating in post-service education;Teachers' post-service education lacks a sound feedback mechanism,and the percentage of follow-up evaluation is particularly low.In view of the various conditions of post-secondary education for elementary school science teachers in Shapingba District,this study proposes to change concepts,raise the level of teachers' understanding of professional development,formulate scientific and rational post-employment education supervision mechanisms and evaluation and evaluation systems,and vigorously develop school-level post-employment education training.Enhance the development of school-based resources;rationally arrange post-employment education and training,reduce work-study contradictions;establish comprehensive,scientific,and efficient post-employment education feedback mechanisms and other specific countermeasures in order to promote the development of post-secondary education for elementary school science teachers in Shapingba District.
