With the development of social economy and information technology,the competition between countries or regions has become increasingly fierce,and the competition among various industries will depend to a large extent on the quantity and quality of complex innovative talents in the future.For a long time,our country's education has mainly taken examinations.The students' thinking has been solidified and their innovating ability is weak.It is difficult to adapt to the constant changes in the economy and society.In order to cultivate students' sense of innovation and ability to innovate,China's education management department has begun to attach importance to STEAM education and has issued a series of related documents.STEAM Education advocates the integration of science,technology,engineering,humanities and arts,mathematics,fosters students' creative and practical abilities to cultivate complex innovative talents for the country.Combining the STEAM education concept with the elementary science curriculum can foster students' interest in science,inquiry-based learning,independent thinking,problem solving,and communication and cooperation.They can inspire students to communicate through practical problems in real life.Interest in science and technology;Understand the concept of engineering and related knowledge,have a big idea of engineering;Teaching mathematics and mathematics methods,training students' mathematics thinking and logical reasoning ability;Through the study and influence of humanities and arts,cultivate students' healthy emotions and good Ethical fashion;all-round training of students' innovative ability,creating innovative talents and leading the society.At present,the primary school science textbook version of the game is more,but with wider range of use is the education of scientific publishing science textbooks,this paper will be the version of the sixth grade teaching material contents and STEAM education fitting analysis,to explore,from the viewpoint of quantitative and qualitative two found three aspects of the problems existing in the teaching material:(1)the scientific content of teaching material is very high,the rest of the four categories of content is relatively small,and lower the degree of integration between five types of knowledge;(2)The distribution of unit knowledge structure is unbalanced,and each unit is mainly scientific knowledge,and the overall difficulty of the textbook is relatively large.(3)The column design is not clear,and the content in the textbook is mainly presented in words,supplemented by charts.According to these three questions,this paper puts forward the following Suggestions: first,suggest to increase the content of the technical,engineering,humanities,arts,and mathematics,according to the students' ability of acceptable select interesting valuable case,stimulate students' interest in learning.Second,the teaching material itself needs to reflect science,technology,engineering,humanities,arts,and mathematics of moderate and depth fusion,recommended the organization form of spiral combined with linear,reasonable arrangement of the knowledge of the different modules,thus forming a complete system of knowledge,knowledge to avoid scattered.Thirdly,the content of the textbook should be presented with both pictures and texts,and the simple piling up of pictures should be avoided.Finally,through the scientific inquiry activities,students' STEAM literacy is cultivated,and students' STEAM education is carried out in rich activity sections.
