Achievements in scientific research are of great significance to teaching,Transforming scientific research achievements into teaching resources has many advantages.For example,it is beneficial to introduce the scientific frontier to students,lead the students to contact the knowledge process,cultivate the students' scientific research ability,cultivate the students' interest in learning,and lead the students to carry out the scientific research practice.Since 1960 s,the study of transforming scientific research achievements into teaching resources has been carried out.The study of transforming scientific research achievements into teaching resources is dispersed in various disciplines,such as Engineering,Machinery,Medicine,Biology,Chemical Materials,studies from these disciplines account for a large proportion,but there are relatively few studies in the field of education.Most of the existing studies discussed how to transform research achievements into teaching contents and teaching resources combined with specific subjects,majors and courses,there are also some studies focused on the importance and necessity of transforming scientific research achievements into teaching resources,and the mechanisms and problems of transforming scientific research achievements into teaching resources.But in general,the quantity of studies is still limited,and the study of transforming scientific research achievements into teaching resources is still in development until now,and has not yet been developed.The purpose of this study is to find out the present situation of the transformation of scientific research achievements into undergraduate teaching resources in universities,find out the existing problems and experience,find out the influence factors of the transformation of scientific research achievements into undergraduate teaching resources,and try to put forward the countermeasures to promote the transformation of scientific research achievements into undergraduate teaching resources,so as to improve the quality of undergraduate teaching resources.In this study,S University was chosen as the research object,and a quantitative and qualitative comprehensive research method was adopted.On the one hand,according to the purpose of this study,an interview outline was compiled.The study used interview survey method to interview some students,teachers,and the staffs of Dean's Office,Social Science Department and Science & Technology Department.On the other hand,the study compiled questionnaires and distributed questionnaires to undergraduates from S University,and 122 valid questionnaires were recovered.First of all,the study describes the current situation of transforming scientific research achievements into undergraduate teaching resources in University S from the transformation frequency,teachers and students' understanding of the necessity of transformation,students' satisfaction with the transformation,and students' expectations of transformation.On the basis of the present situation,the study finds out the following problems.The transformation frequency of scientific research achievements in the undergraduate teaching resources in University S is not high,the quality of transformation is not good,there are contradictions in teachers and students' cognition on the transformation frequency,teachers do not approve of the high expectations of students,and some teachers do not support the transformation.And then the study summarizes the advanced experience of combining scientific research and teaching of University S that include attaching importance to the function of scientific research achievements in training students,emphasizing the construction of the related system,establishing mentor groups.Then,the factors influencing the transformation of scientific research achievements into undergraduate teaching resources are analyzed from seven aspects: teachers,students,curriculum,natural science experimental conditions,universities,mechanisms and scientific research achievements themselves.Finally,the study put forward some strategies to promote the transformation of scientific research achievements into teaching resources from teachers,students and schools these three aspects.First,teachers should attach importance to scientific research achievements,set up the concept of integrating scientific research with teaching,pay attention to cultivate students' way of thinking instead of merely imparting knowledge,enrich teaching content by transforming different types of scientific research achievements into teaching resources,reform teaching method and mean based on PBL teaching method;second,students should change their learning beliefs;third,universities should strengthen the transformation of scientific research achievements into undergraduate in curriculum design,establish a perfect mechanism,universities should actively promote the practice of transforming scientific research achievements into undergraduate teaching resources,and set up a research working group on "transformation of scientific research achievements into undergraduate teaching resources".
