Study On The Affinity Of College Counselors

College counselor is an important part of teachers and management team in the higher education.It is an important force in ideological and political education and to carry the education out.College counselor is the guidance of college students on the road of life and a close friend of the healthy development of college students.The affinity of college counselors refers to a kind of centripetal force produced by college counselors in the process of education,service and management of college students--a good relationship between the two and the inner communication and mutual recognition.The affinity of college counselors is a kind of flexible influence,which exerts a subtle influence on college students’ psychology and behavior.It is of great significance to schools,college students and counselors themselves.The affinity of college counselors is the inevitable requirement of constructing harmonious campus,stimulating the subjectivity of college students,and sustainable development of counselors’ work.In recent years,college counselors have made some significant achievements.most college counselors realize the importance of affinity,and strive to enhance their affinity.However,due to many factors,some college counselors’ affinity is still lower than students’ expectation,and the relationship between the two is emotionally estranged,conflicting in management and have a strange relationship in life and so on.We find that there are many problems in counselors themselves besides the external environmental factors.The lack of affinity consciousness,the inaccurate role orientation,the weak demonstration and the limitation of single communication means lead to the low affinity of college counselors.Therefore,it is very important and urgent to establish the affinity consciousness of college counselors and enhance the affinity ability of college counselors.Because of the above reasons,The author finished his dissertation with the topic of "affinity research of college counselors-taking five universities in Sichuan Province as an example".The basic framework of this thesis includes four parts:Chapter one,introduction.Setting forth the background,purpose andsignificance of the affinity research of college counselors.Firstly,it has rich research contents,provides theoretical support and promotes the development of discipline.secondly,it has the practical significance of promoting the development of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,strengthening the awareness of ideological and political education of college students and promoting the healthy growth of college counselors;It summarizes the current research situation at home and abroad and the main contents,key points,difficulties and innovations of the research.Chapter two,Overview of affinity research of college counselors.Firstly,this paper defines the core concepts of affinity,teacher affinity and college counselor affinity,and then expounds the importance and necessity of promoting college counselor affinity.Chapter three,present situation and causes of affinity of college counselors.Based on the actual investigation,five colleges and universities in Sichuan province are taken as the object of investigation.First of all,the analysis of college counselors affinity basic status.Then according to the questionnaire and interview,the main problems of the affinity of college counselors are analyzed.Finally,it analyzes the main reasons of the problems in the affinity of college counselors.Chapter four,the basic path to enhance the affinity of college counselors.According to the third part,we found the problems of the college counselors’ affinity and the causes of such problems,from the national level,the school level and the instructors themselves to study the level and get the corresponding promotion path.
