Accelerating the development of modern vocational education by the Decision of state council,higher vocational education innovation and Development Action Plan(2015-2018)and jointly building “The Belt and Road Initiative” Action Plan,etc.all put forward that it is need to further promote international cooperation and exchange in vocational education,to train professional talents with international views who thoroughly know international rules.“Internationalization” has become an important topic in education.Therefore,international exchanges and cooperation should become an important part of the Chinese vocational education development.However,for a long time,the internationalization of Chinese vocational education has not been paid enough attention by theorists and lacks a systematic and comprehensive study.In view of this,it is necessary to make a comprehensive review of the course of international exchange and cooperation in Chinese vocational education,grasp the overall context the internationalization so as to put forward feasible suggestions for promoting international exchange and cooperation in vocational education.This paper analyzes the connotation,development status,existing problems,achievements,specific cases and coping strategies of the internationalization of Chinese vocational education in the context of “The Belt and Road Initiative” through literature analysis method,case study method.To interpret the essence of internationalization of education and vocational education.To indicate that the major task of the internationalization of vocational education is to cultivate skilled talents with international view.To dissect the current situation,the content of the specific implementation and construction of the safeguard mechanism of the internationalization of vocational education.To conclude that the internationalization of vocational education in our country is characterized by the lack of international awareness,the limited internationalization activities,the weak international professionalization teams and the low internationalization of students,which have become the bottlenecks resisting the international development of vocational education.To choose Wuxi Machinery and Electron Higher Professional and Technical School,Guangzhou Panyu Polytechnic and Wuhan Railway Vocational College of Technology as case studies to illustrate the concrete practices and problems of international exchange and cooperation of these three colleges with different regional economic structures,different specialized majors and different resources in different regions.In the opportunities and challenges,in order to promote the further development of the international exchange and cooperation of vocational education in our country,we need to continuously broaden the international perspective and establish an internationalized educational concept.We should enhance the overall standard for running colleges and schools and form an international comparative advantage.We should build a guarantee network and optimize the mechanism of the internationalization.We need to innovative internationalization strategy,open up new ideas for the internationalization.We also should link with all parties to enhance the effectiveness of the internationalization.
