From 2009 to 2014,the net influx population in Wuhan increased from 744,500.00 to2,064,900.00 during these 7 years and it already broken through 2,300,000.00 in 2015.These external people prefer to move to city with their whole family increasingly.Their children arrived in city follow them and became the floating children.When these floating children live in the city,peer interaction becomes their primary social interaction,but because of the difference of identity,there are many problems in their peer interaction,These problems deserve academic attention and research.This research based on floating children in L community in Wuhan,get a primary understand on floating children's peer relationship problems through interview and study on students in Grate 4-6 in L community elementary school.Then choose 7 floating children and 3 local students who all have severe peer relationship problems.Through the initial questionnaire survey and compared floating children with local children,the former one mainly have less friends,lack of confidence and poor skills when handling peer conflicts etc.In order to improve the floating children's communication problems,this study through growth group,a professional social work methods,worked on floating children's peer relations,and designed team activities from three dimensions:Peer relations depth and breadth,Peer acceptance and Peer conflict,in order to enhance the flow of children's self-confidence and promote their handling peer relationship skills,grow better in city life,thus help them to integrate into city life.After finishing these activities,the study be gonna evaluated mainly from active procedures and active effects.Research findings were as follows,10 students have a increase on handling peer relationship in different degrees,especially in floating children.This showed that group work have a obvious effect in improving floating children's peer relationship problems.Still,the research exist some questions such as single coverage,team limitation and so on.Hoping this can provide some feedback in future similar study.
