With the vigorous development of higher education,adult education,as an important branch of higher education,is confronted with many problems as well as opportunities.Facing the increasingly fierce competition for talents and harsh working environment,more and more adult college teachers have appeared different degree of professional problems,whether for new teachers or old teachers who have been teaching for many years,and have more or less appeared in the process of work job burnout psychology.Such as lack of enthusiasm and sense of achievement in teaching work,lack of communication,indifference to adult students,role conflicts and contradictions between work and life,and so on.The problem of job burnout of college university teachers as a kind of occupational disease,not only has a direct impact on the professional development of teachers themselves,but also has an indirect negative impact on the rapid development of adult education,and the progress of the construction of a learning society.Therefore,by going into the inner world of adult college teachers and deeply understanding their working status and emotional fluctuations,we can further explore the causes of their job burnout.It also helps them adjust their bad psychological state and help them get out of the misunderstanding of job burnout to realize the professional development of adult college teachers by leaps and bounds.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,including the origin,purpose and significance of this study,research status at home and abroad,research design and research methods.The core concepts of adult college teachers and job burnout are expounded and explained in order to lay a theoretical foundation for the subsequent text interpretation in chapter two.Chapter three is the story presentation of adult college teachers,A?B?C?D?E?F,with the emphasis on narrative research and vivid presentation of the case study.At the same time,it refines the collected content and mainly presents the valuable and representative content of interview.Chapter IV in-depth analyze the story of the study object,looking for the common attributes of the problem.And the causes of job burnout are analyzed,including social factor,school factor,student factor,individual factor and professional characteristic.Chapter five is based on the perspective of teacher professional development,providing suggestions for the alleviation and elimination of teachers' job burnout in adult colleges and universities from the three dimensions of government,school and individual..Under the guidance of social competence model theory,resource conservation theory and teacher career development theory,this paper analyzes the problems,current situation and solutions of adult college teachers' job burnout in adult colleges and universities from the perspective of professional development in order to make great efforts to achieve the unity of theory and practice,so that the research results have both academic and practical value.
