A New Probe Into Xia Mianzun's Thoughts On Chinese Education

Mr.Xia Mianzun is one of the most influential educators in China in twentieth century,he is also a litterateur and publisher.This paper mainly studies the main part of Mr.Xia's Chinese education.Mr.Xia proposed to establish an equal and harmonious relationship between teachers and students by implementing “love” education early.He advancates that teachers should cherish their students as much as their own children,they should take personality education into the whole Chinese Education.On the basis of personality education,he put forward the main ways of Chinese learning are reading and writing.The purpose of reading is to understanding other people's thoughts and feelings,and writing is to making others understand their own thoughts and feelings.In order to implement the reading and writing.Mr.Xia pay attention to let students combine life with this two things and train student's Chinese language ability.Many of his educational thoughts,especially his Chinese education thoughts,A have important reference value for today's Chinese teaching.This paper combines the current situation in Chinese teaching,focuses on personality education,the view of language teaching,the teaching view of reading,the generation and cultivation of language sense and the teaching view of writing and have a systematic caeding.At the some time,this paper also disassedits reference value to today's Chinese education,which is also the take of the study of many scholars.So,this paper hopes to have some innovate from this aspect.
