Since 2014,Core Competencies has been placed at the forefront of deepening curriculum reforms and implementing the basic tasks of morality education,and it has become an important basis for developing talent training standards,revising curriculum standards,and reforming teaching evaluation standards.The release of Chinese Students’ Development Core Competences conforms to the development trend of international education reform,satisfies the urgent need of China to upgrade the international competitiveness of talents,and marks the advent of a new era of Core Competencies in basic education reform.In the reform of education under the guidance of Core Competencies,teachers as first-line workers engaged in educational activities are one of the vital factors influencing the success or failure of educational reform.And teachers’ teaching ability is an effective guarantee for promoting the development of students’ core qualities.At the same time,as a reserve force for teachers in the future,normal university students also have a non-negligible impact on educational reforms.The level of teaching ability of normal college students determines the quality of future teachers.Therefore,it is of far-reaching significance to explore the new developments and new requirements for teaching under core competences and to investigate the current situation of the development of normal students’ ability to teach students in core literacy,and to improve the level of personnel training in normal universities and also promote the development of students’ core qualities.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which describes the research background,research purpose and significance of this paper.And the writer defines the core concepts,introduces the research methods,innovations as well as deficiencies.The first chapter summarizes the related literature of “ Core Competences” and “Teaching Ability”.The review begins with two parts of the measurement analysis and content analysis.Firstly,combing out the development direction and development focus of teaching reform under the background of core competences;Secondly,it analysis the basic viewpoints of experts and scholars on the structure of teaching ability.Then,combining the two parts of the literature review,itsummits up the basic dimensions of teaching ability under core competences,and provides a theoretical basis for the further development of this study.The second chapter analyzes the historical background of Chinese Students’ Development Core Competences,deeply interprets the theoretical connotation of Chinese Students’ Development Core Competences,and clarifies in detail the new requirements of Chinese Students’ Development Core Competences for teaching ability.Based on the basic dimensions of teaching ability,the specific structure of teaching ability under core competences is constructed.The third chapter is an empirical survey,which mainly includes survey design,survey implementation,and statistics of survey results.In this chapter,with the aid of questionnaires and in-depth interviews,it investigates the development of teaching ability under the core competences of normal university students and the influential factors that influence the development of the teaching ability of normal students.The fourth combined with the development requirements of core competences,and proposing effective measures to enhance the cultivation of normal college students’ teaching ability.On this study,the author want to provide normal universities with some effective strategies of training teaching ability,and want to let normal students understand the new teaching requirements of core competences,to help them adapt to the new education environment better.
