In recent years,China's tourism education has developed rapidly. Many secondary vocational schools in China have set up tourism specialty, and many secondary vocational students majoring in tourism have been enrolled. However, further understanding will find that the level of professional identity of tourism secondary vocational students is not high, especially senior students, the level of professional identity is obviously lower than that of newly enrolled students, the survey data also reflects this point. Moreover, within two years after graduation,a considerable proportion of secondary vocational students majoring in tourism have switched to other industries, with a high rate of job losses. The causes of this phenomenon include family, school, society and students' own cognitive development. The low professional identity of tourism majors in secondary vocational schools is a problem that can not be ignored. There are six chapters in this paper. The first chapter introduces the research background, purpose, significance, methods and research process;the second chapter defines the concept of important others and professional identity, and collates and analyzes the theoretical basis of the study;the third and fourth chapter, the design and implementation of the study, this study strictly according to the framework of grounded theoretical research to carry out grounded theoretical analysis, through three-level decoding, draw a conclusion about weight. In order to influence selective identification by others, the "three-stage and consistent" influence model should be adopted. The "three-stage" means: the first stage, paying attention to the early stage of students' choice of major and taking intervention measures;the second stage, paying attention to the role of "communication" between students and the important guiding role of teacher in charge of class;and the third stage, giving full play to the exemplary role of successful people in tourism industry."Continuous penetration" means that the influence of important others runs through the process of students' professional identity formation;Chapter 5 puts forward pertinent suggestions aiming at the influence of important others on professional identity;Chapter 6 summarizes the research conclusions, limitations and prospects.
