Since the 21st century,with the development of cutting-edge technologies such as mobile Internet,cloud computing,and the Internet of Things,the era of big data has quietly arrived.As a product of continuous updating of information technology,new media provides strong data support for the development of various fields.The education industry also needs new media to promote the rapid development of educational informationization,which of course includes music teaching in primary and secondary schools.The effective integration of new media technologies into the music classrooms of primary and secondary schools can improve the classroom efficiency of music teaching with rich and varied teaching resources and flexible and varied teaching forms.This paper mainly combines the background of the rapid development of information society science and technology,discusses the feasibility of the application of new music teaching technology in the era of big data,and takes Jingzhou City as an example to conduct on-the-spot investigations on 12 primary and middle schools.The research content of this paper is mainly divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,which contains the interpretation of related concepts,the background of the topic,the research purpose,the research status and the research methods.The second chapter explains the advantages of new media from a macro perspective.The third chapter is an investigation of the application of new media in music teaching in primary and secondary schools in Jingzhou City,and presents the survey content and results.The fourth chapter is the author's vision and vision for the future music classroom.
