It is the historical mission and social responsibility of current higher education to train new people to take on the task of national rejuvenation.Scientific family upbringing and good self-management ability are the basic conditions for cultivating new people in the era.How to further optimize the way of family upbringing and cultivate and improve the self-management ability of college students is an important practical problem to be solved urgently in order to promote the all-round development of college students and improve the quality of personnel training in the new era.This study is based on the existing research results,the paper use Marx's comprehensive development theory,social cognitive theory and humanistic learning theory as the theoretical basis,and use literature research method and empirical research method synthetically to conduct an empirical survey of more than 800 college students in some universities in Wuhan area,to conduct in-depth interviews with 20 college students and 10 parents,and to conduct data analysis using SPSS 19.0.and AMOS21.0Understanding the differences of parenting style and college students' self-management ability in demographic variables,and exploring the influence of parenting style on College Students' self-management ability.Then looking for strategies to optimize parenting style and improve college students' self-management ability.Empirical analysis shows that family rearing styles are related to children's gender.family ranking,family structure,birthplace,parents' political outlook,education level,occupation,emotional status,childhood life and family income.Among them,parents' emotional warmth has a higher significant level and a higher score.Parents adopt more emotional warmth in their upbringing;There are significant differences in gender,school,grade,political outlook,student cadres,social practice experience,family structure and family income level.College students have better self-cognitive ability,lower ability of emotional management and time management,and lower ability of behavioral management;Family upbringing has a significant impact on College Students' self-management ability.Parents' emotional warmth has a significant positive effect on College Students' self-management ability.Parents' refusal and over-protection have a significant negative effect on CollegeStudents' self-management ability.In the end,this study puts forward some countermeasures and paths to optimize family upbringing and improve college students' self-management ability.In the aspect of optimizing family upbringing mode,strengthening parents' dominance is the premise,mastering scientific upbringing method is the key,strengthening children's subjectivity is the fundamental,and strengthening multiple communication and harmonious interaction between parents and children is the guarantee.In order to improve college students' self-management ability,we should further optimize the social growth environment,adhere to correct propaganda and guidance,make full use of high-quality resources of colleges and universities,explore scientific management mode,cultivate self-management consciousness,and focus on improving practical ability.
