With the progress of society,the relationship between education and economy is closer.As an important link of social development,whether the structure of higher education is reasonable or not,it is especially critical to the economic development.At present,Liaoning Province is facing the transformation upgrading of industrial structure,and promoting the coordination of higher education subject structure and industrial structure is the concrete embodiment of the development of higher education connotation.This study takes higher education discipline structure and regional industrial structure of Liaoning Province as the study object,and applies the literature research method under the guidance of the theory of Petty-Clark's law,Human Capital Managent,Internal and External Relations of Education,Grey System Theory,and so on.By using literature research method,Principal Component Analysis and Grey Relational Analysis,the correlation degree between them is systematically analyzed.In this study,the status quo of higher education discipline structure and industrial structure in Liaoning Province is discussed,and the summary and analysis are carried out.Then selecting the relevant indicators to make empirical analysis on the structure of higher education and industrial structure in Liaoning Province.By using the method of correlation analysis,this paper analyzes the correlation between the scale of higher education and the level of economic development in Liaoning Province,and the results show that there is a correlation between them.Based on the Principal Component Analysis,the Grey Relational Analysis between the higher education structure and the industrial structure is carried out.The study shows that the correlation between the industrial structure and the subject structure is low.Then the grey correlation degree between the family structure and the industrial structure is analyzed,and the conclusion is that there is a certain degree of correlation betweenhigher education subject structure and industrial structure in liaoning province.The correlation between the subject structure and the industrial structure is the strongest at the college level,followed by the undergraduate level,the doctoral level,and the master level.Generally speaking,there are some deficiencies in the relationship between the subject structure and the industrial structure at all levels,which indicates that the higher education structure does not meet the needs of the transformation upgrading in time of the industrial structure in Liaoning province.The results of the study show that there are still some deficiencies in the subject structure of Liaoning province.This paper analyzes the reasons for the shortcomings,and puts forward the corresponding policy suggestions in the light of the needs of upgrading and development of industrial structure.In order to strengthen the correlation between higher education discipline structure and industrial structure in Liaoning province and achieve the purpose of coordinated development of higher education and industrial structure.
