Since the reform and opening up,China has made remarkable achievements in the fields of economy,science and technology,culture and education.With the change of the times and the progress of society,the country needs more and more professionals and high-quality talents.The level and quality of basic education development is the basic symbol to measure the overall quality of the nation and the degree of modern social civilization,and also the fundamental symbol to promote our country to a strong talent country.High school education is the continuation of compulsory education and plays an important role in the basic education stage.The adjustment of curriculum structure is an important task in the reform of basic education curriculum,and it is also related to the speed of economic development and the achievement of socialist construction.From a historical point of view,this paper systematically combs the historical evolution of curriculum structure of senior high schools in China in the past 40 years of reform and opening up,analyses the characteristics of curriculum structure,and puts forward some suggestions for optimizing the curriculum structure of senior high schools.Firstly,based on the literature review,the author clarifies the core concepts such as curriculum structure.The curriculum structure in this study refers to a way of organizing and arranging the various structural elements-disciplines(or subjects),that is,how to organically integrate the "class" curriculum,the "subject" curriculum and the "subject".This paper mainly discusses the type of curriculum,the way of composition and the process of change.Secondly,according to the time of curriculum reform of basic education,relevant documents and the changes among the elements of curriculum structure,the history of curriculum structure of senior high schools in the past 40 years of reform and opening up can be divided into four periods: recovery,adjustment,reform and improvement.This paper summarizes the characteristics of curriculum structure in each period by analyzing the background and specific content of curriculum structure in ordinary senior high schools in each period.The recovery period of curriculum structure has the characteristics of singleness,with single subject as the main course;the adjustment period of curriculum structure has the characteristics of certainty and pluralism,but ignores the actual execution ability of schools and the needs of students;the reform period of curriculum structure has the characteristics of three-dimensionalityand complexity,which means that the elements of curriculum type,curriculum organization and other elements of curriculum structure are no longer flat in this period.It will develop in a three-dimensional direction.Complexity refers to mixing all the contents together in the reform of curriculum structure,which leads to confusion.The perfection period of curriculum structure has the characteristics of innovation and flexibility.Innovation refers to breaking the bondage of traditional curriculum structure and combining the actual needs of society and students.Flexibility refers to the rational use of credit system to train students to meet their own development needs.Finally,according to the optimization theory of curriculum structure,the author constructs a three-dimensional structure map of "level-type" to clarify the elements of curriculum structure and their relationship,and accordingly puts forward some suggestions for the optimization of curriculum structure in senior high schools.
