Preschool education is an important component of the fundamental education, which lays the solid foundation for Schooling and lifelong education. Infancy is a crucial stage of life; hence the educational quality of this period is closely connected with subsequent fulfillment. Among the preschool education reformation practice, the curriculum reform which affects the educational quality as well as the harmonious development of the infants' both physical and mental health is of great importance and difficult as well. This thesis, under the guidance of dialectic and historical materialism, expounds and analyses the preschool curriculum reformation since the opening and reform, so as to be of help to the present preschool curriculum construction.This thesis is composed of four parts:The preface points out the significance and actuality of this research, together with the brief introduction of methodology.The first part of the main body analyses the historical background, the content and specific acts of the curriculum reformation in the kindergarten and demonstrates the achievement as well as the problems from the time of the opening and reform to the end of the 1990's.The following part surveys and analyzes another round of curriculum reform that opens up the brand-new ideas and perspectives on the children development in the new era; meanwhile, it objectively indicates the dilemma and existing problems.The third Part puts forward some enlightenment and suggestions on the current curriculum reform in the kindergarten based on the survey and analysis of the previous experience since the reform and opening-up policy.
