With the rapid development of information technology,new media has gradually been applied to all aspects of public learning and life.The new media has quickly won the favor of the public with its advantages of speed and variety.The massive information it disseminates has built an important external environment in the life of junior high school students in China,and has subtly influenced the growth of the younger generation.But the problems it brings,such as cyber violence,internet addiction,and information security,are also clearly visible.How to effectively implement new media literacy education for junior high school students and help junior high school students learn to give full play to the positive role of new media has become an urgent problem.Based on the research of domestic and foreign related research literature,clarifying the connotation and basic structure of new media literacy,and cultivating the significance of new media literacy for junior high school students,this study uses the questionnaire survey method to identify new media from junior high school students.The three dimensions of new media use and new media ethics are to understand the status quo of junior high school students' new media literacy.The results show that the overall level of new media literacy of junior high school students in the new media era is moderate;the new media environment of junior high school students is superior,but the perception of new media is lacking,the use of new media is not comprehensive,and the new media ethics awareness needs to be improved;The basic operation of new media and safety awareness are good,but the purpose of use is biased,the ability of information understanding is weak,the lack of information interaction consciousness,the ability of information criticism is relatively insufficient,and the new media literacy of junior high school students is affected by grade,media use time,media use purpose,parents' Affected by factors such as the level of education and parental guidance.According to the analysis of the survey results,the countermeasures for enhancing the new media literacy of junior high school studentsare proposed:(1)improve the self-education ability of junior high school students;(2)enhance the auxiliary role of the family,including parents to improve their new media literacy level and build A harmonious family atmosphere,setting reasonable new media usage rules;(3)giving play to the leading role of the school,including transforming the new media literacy education concept,improving teachers' new media literacy level,exploring new media literacy curriculum setting mode,enriching new media literacy Educational activities.
