In the modern era,the rapid development of the media has made media literacy the necessary basic quality for people’s daily lives.Media literacy,as an important part of modern citizens’ quality,also has an important influence on the cultivation of students’ core qualities.For more than a decade,the rapid development of domestic media literacy has aroused widespread concerns.The various media information is a double-edged sword for junior high school students who do not have a sound psychological mechanism.The media has become an important channel for junior high school students to acquire information,learn knowledge,understand society,inter personally communicate,and cultivate moral.At the same time,it also brings a lot of negative influences.Adolescents are prone to lose themselves in the complex media world and suffer from misbehavior due to bad information.As a comprehensive course,the junior high school Morals and Rule of Law class assumes important responsibilities for improving students’ media literacy.Junior high school Morals and Rule of Law class must keep up with the requirements of the development of the times and conform to curriculum reforms,and integrate media literacy education into everyday teaching.The first part of the thesis first defines the concept of media literacy of junior middle school students,and discusses the theoretical basis of media literacy education for junior high school students from the perspectives of communication science,pedagogy,and psychology.Morality and the rule of law from junior high school curriculum reform demands and requirement of the junior middle school students grow lesson in junior middle school of morality and the rule of law is expounded the necessity of cultivating students’ media literacy,cultivate students’ media literacy and conducive to morality and the rule of law of class moral education goals to achieve,and help the junior middle school students to adapt to the information society.Second,through to the present situation of media literacy in junior high school students,and junior high school class media literacy under the rule of law and ethics investigation,analyses the junior middle school moral lesson and the rule of law the lack of media literacy education of the influence of media literacy education defensive mentality of morality and the rule of law,junior high school class teachers’ lack of media literacy education ability,morality and the rule of law class media literacy education evaluation criterion,students’ media education ability is not strong wait for a reason.Finally,put forward the ascension in the morality and the rule of law course teaching in junior high school students’ media literacy countermeasures,to promote the junior middle school teachers’ ability of media literacy education of morality and the rule of law class,such as changing the concept of morality and the rule of law class teachers,involved in media literacy education courses;Still need to strengthen the students’ self education,to inspire media literacy education in junior high school students self learning consciousness,strengthening the ability of self education of junior middle school students media literacy education,expand the approaches of junior middle school students self education of media literacy education;Ensure that junior middle school moral lesson and rule of media literacy education to implement the effectiveness of the media literacy education goals need to be clarified,according to the time request mining the media literacy education in the teaching material content,innovation of media literacy education teaching methods,teaching evaluation index to construct the media literacy education.
