| Sensory integration refers to the process of sensing and processing information from various sensory organs(visual, tactile, auditory, ontological, and vestibular, etc.)through external stimuli to produce various movements and responses. The sensory integration disorder refers to certain obstacles the brain undergoes in the above process, which reflects varying degrees of behavioral disorders and is harmful to the development of comprehensive competence and psychological quality of children.Sensory integration training exists throughout our lives, whereas the best period for sensory integration training comes when children are aged 6 to 9,which is also the premium time to improve sensory integration disorder of children and adolescents. The functional development of people beyond the age of 20 is almost stable and cannot be changed. Therefore, the sensory integration training in childhood plays an important role in the healthy growth of children and adolescents.Using literature data method, this article makes further comparison and analysis into the influence that sensory integration training teaching has on the balance competence of 7-9 year-old children. In the research,we adopts the experiment method, statistical analysis method and logic analysis method, taking the Fushan County Chenwu Health Club as example, with 30 children aged 7-9 years selected as the study subjects,of which one group was selected as the experimental group and the other group was the control group.Through experimental research on sensory integration training for children and adolescents aged 7-9 years,a large amount of research has been carried out.The logic and statistical analysis method was used to compare and analyze the statistical data obtained.According to the research, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Through a12-week sensory integration training intervention, the 7-to 9-year-old children’s balance competence was improved on the basis of the original. The sensory integration training not only has a certain positive effect, but also greatly improves the balance ability.(2)Through experiments it can be found, boys and girls have different balance competences.Male students are superior to girls in dynamic balance competence, while girls are better than boys in static balance competence.(3)After receiving training, children in different age groups have varying differences in their balance competence,of which the averages increase significantly with age.It shows that after receiving the same training, children of relatively older ages can better control the demand for training while the demand for training in both young and older children increases with age.(4)It can be seen from the experimental study that sensory integration training can promote the development of children’s balance competence. Both the control group and the experimental group have different degrees of improvement.Compared with the situation before and after the experiment, the sensory integration training is superior to the traditional teaching method.Compared with the situation before and after the experiment, the sensory integration training teaching is superior to the traditional teaching method.According to the conclusions of the article the following conclusions are proposed:(1)some of the good training methods and good training content in sensory integration training should be applied to children’s daily physical education, and should be persisted for a long time.Or we should develop courses for sensory integration training based on existing equipment.(2)The education of children with sensory integration disorders should be strengthened, because the functional development of children during childhood is not stable, and if not corrected in time,it may affect the child’s life. Therefore, teachers in schools should be trained in the theory and practice of sensory integration, and the method of sensory integration training should be fully applied to the children’s education,so as to continuously improve children’s competence of athletics, balance and learning, thus laying a solid foundation for children’s later growth, and stimulating their physical and mental growth. It is recommended that researchers doing similar experiments in the future should extend the experiment time for a longer period than the present research so as to avoid problems resulting from short experiment time, inaccurate data which might influence the conclusions.(4)Always put “safety” in the first place in the process of sensory integration training, and at any time pay attention to children’s situations in the teaching process, including changes in facial expressions, attitude, using of equipment, and psychological changes as well as other changes, and take appropriate measures to solve the above problems,so that children will actively participate in exercise happily.(5)Recognize the difference of gender characteristics of the children, selectappropriate training and, with the aid of sensory integration training equipment, achieve a comprehensive, healthy and balanced development in children’s balance competence happily.(6)In the new era,the physical and psychological development of children and adolescents requires the care of parents, schools, and the whole society.Parents plays the most important part in children’s growth, thus, under conditions where possible, parents should also be involved in the sensory integration training to gain a timely understanding of the child’s physical condition and participation in the training, and to select appropriate training content and methods according to their children’s actual choice,so that the children can grow happily in the training process.(7)Select the most reasonable and appropriate training methods and training difficulty according to the differences of children’s balance competence in different age groups, and carry out the training with regards to varying conditions,so that the balance competence of children in different age groups can be improved more effectively. |
