Calculus is one of the three great inventions of natural science in the 17th century(Engels).Its establishment has played a great role in promoting the development of physics,chemistry and other disciplines,fully reflecting that mathematics is a basic science and constantly promoting the progress and development of the world.As an important part of high school mathematics curriculum,calculus not only contains abundant theoretical knowledge and mathematical culture,but also has vital educational significance and value,which can play an important role in further improving students' comprehensive cultural literacy and enriching students' knowledge reserve system.Since the implementation of the curriculum reform policy,the education department has formulated many targeted and effective reform measures,and many problems in the teaching process have been properly handled.However,the traditional teaching mode has left a deep imprint on the minds of teachers and students,forming a kind of solidified thinking.In addition,teachers'understanding of the new curriculum standard is not deep and comprehensive enough,which leads to many difficult problems for teachers to solve in their teaching activities.In this paper,on the basis of strictly following the relevant requirements and norms in the common high school mathematics curriculum standards,all the students and mathematics teachers in the second year of high school are selected as the research and analysis objects,and the teaching status of calculus in high school is investigated and studied by means of survey,interview and other methods.The investigation of students starts from the following four dimensions:the understanding of calculus knowledge content in high school,the attitude to calculus knowledge learning in high school,the view of calculus teaching in class,and the understanding of calculus learning.The investigation of teachers starts from the following four dimensions:attitude and knowledge of calculus knowledge content,attitude to "standard" and curriculum setting,choice of teaching strategies of calculus class,cultivation of students' mathematical thinking and ability.And interview of some teachers and students,the following conclusions:the teaching of the teachers pay attention to the promotion of student performance,ignored the formation of mathematical thinking in calculus teaching and the cultivation of mathematical ability,the students in the calculus teaching construction part does not have a complete knowledge system,only pay attention to its own calculus problem solving ability,teachers in the process of teaching activities,not put students in the main body status,ignoring the students' subjectivity,lectures boring,students enthusiasm is low.Students think that calculus content is not easy to understand,and the teaching method of calculus class is too simple and rigid,with practice and teaching as the main teaching content,without in-depth integration of modern information technology and calculus course.In this paper,the investigation interview result carried on the thorough and comprehensive analysis,combined with the "ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standard" the relevant requirements and specifications,the constructivism theory,cognitive development theory and a series of content as scientific guidance,and related to this topic research,so as to put forward a series of reasonable suggestions to guide the teaching of calculus.
