In recent years,the education reform in the high school is constantly advancing and deepening,and this also makes the Chinese curriculum different.Diversification can be said to be a new feature of Chinese teaching.For example,the emergence and flourishing of elective courses have proved this point.The Ministry of Education has developed a number of elective course materials for high school students,which makes elective courses an independent course that does not depend on compulsory courses.Electives and compulsory courses rely on each other to promote the development of students' language proficiency.As a completely independent course,it has occupied a very important position in the high school language course.From this point of view,the success or failure of the new curriculum reform,it is necessary to refer to the quality of teaching in elective courses.However,inspecting the quality of elective courses recently,and by consulting the references,it is found that in the course of practice,the implementation of elective courses is not smooth.To be more specific,students lose the choice of elective courses,the form of teachers is single,and schools ignore the establishment.Many questions,such as a perfect elective course evaluation system have not yet to be resolved.It can be seen that although the elective course is one of the wings of the Chinese language curriculum,it still has some shortcomings.How to make the elective course play its role better has become the focus of many scholars.According to the above,this paper takes Yanji City's third high school as the research object,and uses questionnaires,interviews,literature research and other methods to investigate the teaching practice of high school Chinese elective courses,trying to find out the school' s problems and causes in Chinese elective teaching.The discussion in this paper can be divided into four parts.The first chapter is the introduction of this paper,which involves the research background,research purpose,research significance,research status,method of research,and relevant theoretical basis.The second chapter is the data presentation and analysis chapter of the questionnaire.The author analyzes the teaching practice of the language elective course of the school through the course opening,course teaching,course management,course evaluation and teacher teaching,and summarizes the school' s advantages and disadvantages in this aspect.The third chapter is the analysis of the reasons for the problem of the teaching of the Chinese elective course in the third high school of Yanji City.The fourth chapter is based on the reasons analyzed in the third chapter,and puts forward reasonable suggestions to provide specific,detailed and practical guidance for the third high school in Yanji City.
