The National High School Chemistry Olympiad Competition is an educational strategy for popularizing chemical knowledge. It not only encourages adolescents to be at the forefront of chemical development, but also enables them to understand the importance of chemistry to science and technology, social economy and people's lives as early as possible. It also promotes the reform of chemistry education in universities and middle schools, which has greatly improves the level of chemistry education in China.Students participating in the High School Chemistry Competitions are mainly concentrated in the second and third grades. In other words, most of the candidates need to master the basic knowledge of the four major branches of chemistry in a short period of time while facing the severe high school curriculum burden, and be able to use them to solve the questions flexibly. This is not only a test of the thinking and learning ability of high school students, but also a full-scale challenge to their perseverance and physical fitness. In the National High School Chemistry Competition tests, organic chemistry part has always been an important part, which is quite difficult. However,it is also a part of the contest which the candidates are most likely to grasp the regular pattern. In order to enable the students who participated in the High School Chemistry Competition to achieve excellent results quickly and effectively, this dissertation starts with the organic chemistry part in the National High School Chemistry Competition in recent years, and expounds it into elementary organic reactions, theories in organic chemistry, and reaction mechanisms modules. All these three modules are studied, and the learning methods of each part are expounded one by one.At the same time, the problem solving techniques of answering organic questions such as inductive method, inverse method and comprehensive analysis method are summarized. On this basis, candidates who participate in the chemistry competition understand the importance of cutting-edge research in the field of chemistry. At last, the mind mapping method was introduced into the study of the High School Chemistry Competition, which can be used as a reference for the first-line chemistry teachers and contest students. The specific work of this dissertation is as follows:1.The organic chemistry questions of National Chemistry Olympiad(Preliminary and Final)in recent years were summarized and analyzed.2.Based on analysis of the questions in the National High School Chemistry Competitions, this dissertation divides the learning methods into three modules: elementary organic reactions, theories in organic chemistry and reaction mechanisms.3.Summarize the problem-solving skills of organic test questions such as induction method, inverse push method and comprehensive analysis method to help students improve their competition results in a short period of time.4.Through analysis of the competition questions, candidates who participated in the finals of the chemistry competition could understand the importance of cutting-edge research in the field of chemistry. Then we pointed out how to retrieve the required preparations quickly and how to use the literature to make up for knowledge loopholes.5.The mind mapping method was introduced into the study of the High School Chemistry Competition for the first time.Taking the organic chemistry part as an example, the construction method of the first-level mind map and the second-level mind map in the competition is proposed. At the same time,an example is given to analyze the application of the secondary mind map in the analysis of High School Chemistry Competition organic chemistry test questions.
