In China,normal universities or teacher's colleges in universities are the center to cultivate prospective teachers.In addition to subject matter-specified knowledge and skills,the students of these institutions also need to carry out educational internship.Educational internship is a process in which interns apply the professional knowledge and skills they have learned to educational practice.It is an indispensable link in normal education to implement the theories into practice aiming to the general instruction objectives.In the process of educational internship,because of being lack of practical experience in the real instruction environment,different complicated problems may occur to the interns,so it is necessary for the tutors in colleges or universities to provide timely and effective guidance.Through interviews with the internship tutor sand the interns majoring in education technology,it is found that the main problem in the internship is from the communication among the tutors and the interns,because the in-depth,comprehensive and timely guidance cannot be implemented due to lacking of appropriate means with which the guidance strategies are carried out.In order to solve these problems,this study designs a series of web-based educational internship guidance strategy,so as to realize timely,effective and in-depth guidance,to accelerate the process of interns becoming qualified prospective teachers.Based on the internship diaries,with the aid of qualitative analysis software,the education internship critical events are extracted,then the typical problems in the internship are summed up,such as the concrete problems “being not easy on adapting to the environment”,“poor ability in expression”,“being not good at teaching content analysis in instructional design”,“poor class control”,“decreased interest in internship” and “being unclear about career future”,etc.Based on the theory of situated learning and the theory of Community of Practice,the web-based guidance strategy for educational internship are put forward,named as timely feedback strategy,online FAQ strategy,video based observation/discussion strategy,peer evaluation,and reflective summary strategy.After implementing of these strategies via a learning platform,through the analysis of the results of the implementation,it is found that these strategies enrich the means and content of the guidance,and provide more in-depth guidance for the interns.Meanwhile,the pedagogy skills and reflective capability of interns have been improved,which facilitate the professional development of interns.
